Thanks for the channel. That's exactly the Content fans of AIC need

Tbh glad you put in Got Me Wrong. You can hear the vocals really well in unplugged

Writing vocal harmony sometimes feels difficult to me, but it's so rewarding to hear. I've gotten some more inspiration from this video (and my favorite band of course), great video!

Layne was a natural at this, harmonies popped in his mind with no effort... by the way you are my new fav channel great content full of passion !

What about Above (mad season).the harmonies in this song are weird ill say , its something about low chesty Mark's voice, and a feeling that Layne is like trying to be intentionally little bit out of key

Love your passion for the chains, my favorite band ever..... Thank you🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

shame in you is like the ultimate  ballad. got me through the worst of times such a sad perfect song.

Love your explains and these Harmonys! Sounds so nice 😁👍

I hear an upper third 3 part harmony in “Down in a hole chorus” too

I love your channel brother.

Thank you, what a great explanation ❤

I feel like I learned something! Thank you🤘

It’s great to hear someone talking about theory! It can be lonely sometimes when you work with rock musicians that think theory will stunt her creativity. lol!

I will definately listen to "Lying Season" with other ears from now on!

One thousand thank you(s) for this video! I love it when you burst out singing. I fantasize about harmonizing with you, and then wonder how tough you would be as a teacher! If you’re an AIC fan you understand the feeling.

This is  fantastic.

good on ya

Timbre is another big part of why the harmonies sound the way they do.  Jerry has that  kind of warm tone and Layne had raspier and varies between the dark and bright resonance.   I am certain we could look at differing vowels sounds from the two singers and how the distinctness of their singing styles creates that sound that is so distinctly AIC. (And part of why the william duvall incarnation sounds so different from OG.)

You left out I stay away!?   One of the greatest examples of all time.

GReat Video well needed and you sound good TOO!
