I didn’t really know how to make this, but I felt like I owed everyone an explanation. Earlier today I punched the air… multiple times. There wasn’t any drama or deep reason behind it—I just felt strong for like five seconds and completely lost the plot. The air did absolutely nothing to deserve that. It was just existing, and I made it my opponent for no reason. I’ve had some time to think about it, and honestly, I can see why people are disappointed. I’m not asking anyone to forgive me overnight, but I do want to apologize to the air and to everyone who had to witness such an unnecessary act of violence. I’ll do better next time.

You know, there’s a reason why I reacted so quickly. When I was younger, I promised myself I’d never stand and watch someone fall again. I remember  running after my little sister while she was learning to ride her bicycle, telling her I wouldn’t let go, I’d be right there if she needs me. For one second, I looked away, and she fell. It wasn’t as serious injury—just a scraped knee—but the way she cried, the way she looked at me like I’d broken a promise… I never forgot it.
