This video shows the installation of suspension pot 12048 on chassis 15000 of a Citroën 2CV. The parts used are threaded tubes 12050, nuts 12053, rubber stops 12160 and protective boots 12258.

First, the rubber stops and nuts are installed on both sides. The suspension pot is then positioned. The threaded tubes are adjusted until the rubber stops contact the suspension pot with light preload. Finally, the outer nuts are locked to secure the threaded tubes.

The protective boots 12258 seal the tie rods against the threaded tubes. Do not compress the rubber stops too much during adjustment. Light preload is sufficient to hold the suspension pot securely without play.
