forca benfica im polish been supporting benfica for 5 years when i went to lisbon and fell in love with the club cant wait to go to another game unfortunately i live in england so it is hard to catch a game

A menina acertou no resultado, 3-1

I was in Portugal this past August just in time for the start of preseason and saw Benfica take on New Castle United in a friendly. I hung out in that same area you did pre match, under the highway system with all the food and beer trucks. Great experience. We had amazing seats behind the goal. Sporting played the night before, I wish I would have gone just for the experience. I’ll be back. Portugal is a lovely country and the people are great!

I went to a Benfica game in October. I absolutely loved it. Great team, fantastic fans, brilliant stadium.
Totally different atmosphere from going to a game in Scotland.
One thing that surprised me, in a good way, was the amount of young women and families that attended the game. Groups of women going to the match together. That is something you don't see in Scotland.
Anyway, it was fantastic and I am now a Benfica fan. Well,  they are my second team now. Rangers will always be my first team.

I have very good memories at Benfica, that's where I won 18 Champions League, 5 Europa Leagues, 26 League Titles and 21 Tacas as a Manager in my FM 14

I always liked Benfica in the early 2000s when they popped up in the Champions League games every now and again. Very cool for you to travel and show us all these stadiums.

I grew up in Portugal(Lagos) and had the pleasure of going to that amazing stadium to see England Croatia, England Portugal both in Euro 2004 and Benfica Chelsea in the champions league in 2012. The atmosphere is hands down best in the world.

Also did you know Mike Tyson is a Benfica fan?

Roger Schmidt has really got his entire squad smiling.
Benfica are having a great season both in the league and in the Champions

O melhor clube do Mundo.  Glorioso.

Being a huge fan of your content and after your recent "visit" to the stadium, I'm now really happy that you finally managed to catch one of our games. From a Benfica Sócio, welcome!

I’m a Sheffield United fan now living in Lisbon and following Benfica, and your matchday experience looks like it was exactly the same as mine at Estádio da Luz! Pre-match bifana and beer (shame it’s Sagres), almost the same seat, and a great atmosphere (awesome people too!) 🦅 ⚔️

Just a note: the translation should be Stadium of Luz, not Stadium of Light. While "luz" does mean "light", in this context Luz is the name of the parish where the stadium is located.

Benfica are seriously on 🔥🔥this season. I'm also glad that Alexander Bah made it into the Danish world cup squad.

Actually, it’s the other way around…… it’s the Emirates that is very similar to Estádio da Luz. 😜

Went to Benfica’s home opener on our trip to Portugal in August, a lot of fun.  I actually found your channel while looking up Benfica prior to our trip. If you can while in Algarve, visit Carvoeiro.  We stayed 4 nights there, really nice town in the region.  Love your channel and all the interesting videos, I’ve watched many over the past few months!

Great to see a video about Benfica again! There are League Cup games still going on in Portugal during the World Cup (which is an interesting move from the League Association to make it a bit more challenging to the big teams that see lots of important players leave for their national teams), it is a very exciting time to support this club with the level of football we've been playing nationally and in European competitions, there's a lot of fanfare and passion resurfacing from the level of dedication we have seen from players and the coach, something which was heavily criticised under Jorge Jesus' second ternure as Benfica's coach during the pandemic (all the legal issues regarding the president, the coach was a divisive figure after joining Sporting and dissing the club a bit during that time, the team was greatly underperforming after investing €100M, etc.) Overall it is great to see these types of videos, hopefully one day I'll get to see Benfica here in the UK (winning, of course). Keep up the great work!

If you love football you must love BENFICA! ❤❤❤

Great stuff! I was also there in the stadium and i can assure you that the atmosfere in Big games and champions League is 10 times better!

BENFICA is a feeling deep inside the heart its religion!!!

YEAHHHH, FINALLY!!! THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEOS (SPECIALLY WHEN BENFICA PLAYS) ❤ BENFICA IS THE GREATEST CLUB, AT LEAST, OF PORTUGAL ❤
