Yes, be respectful but stand your ground. People will only treat you the way you allow them to treat you.

I think it's better to be a patient care tech at the hospital

My favorite piece of advice you gave was 'You can sip the tea, but don't spill it.' Thank you for your video. I feel like I can listen to you all day long!

@DONNAASAURR 3 years ago

Yup! The tea part is right! That’s why for me, I always told myself that if there’s drama going on at work I have to be positive all the time. Like if people talked bad about others to me , I tried not to say anything bad about the other person. Because i don’t know the other person so why say something bad due to a one side drama lol. So I always try to stay positive as much as I can. Aha

Because of lazy nurses I resigned from my pct job. They don't want to help while they expect you to do everything.

You gave wonderful points. I wish everyone could hear this. What you said need to be in handbooks.

I start my orientation/on the job training for PCT on July 19th, and this video is very insightful! Thank you so much!!

I work as an evs at the hospital. The amount of disrespect I get from the nurses to food servers is messed up. Every time I am in a group meeting and telling the supervisor and managers about this, we was told to just report to them, ignored and don't approach them and do our jobs. It got to the point that I told my supervisor that I will record and sue the department, that staff and hospital because they knew about the problem and didn't do nothing about it.

Great video. You are the epitome of professional and ethical. I hope to work with people like you. I’m starting my journey in healthcare after 30+ years in legal.

I start my PCT job on the 30th of May and the wiping butts part is concerning haha. But as a pre school teacher right now, I think I will be okay!
