I love how no one can decide what "Raiden's theme" is, instead everybody just makes it a mix of Rules Of Nature, Return To Ashes and A Soul Can't Be Cut

Sam literally killed the "man in the mirror"

Sam fighting himself can be symbolic to him fighting his inner demons while he waited for raiden

“Show me a good time, Sam!”
“I’ll take this dance.”
“You came prepared?”
“You looked like you needed a hand.”
“You know, all this talk about losing limbs makes me think you need to lose a few.”
“Now you’re talking.”

The rest of Desperados:
“… Sam, stop flirting with yourself and kill yourself, please, for our sakes.”

13:37 me fighting the person that ruined my life

3:25 a magic disappear of sword perfomed by Sam

The way sam faces himself is just awesome

"no Sam, report back to the HQ. he's mine"
"no"

Sam 1: “You look familiar.”
Sam 2: “As do you.”
both run at each other screaming
swords collide as The Only Thing I Know For Real starts playing

It honestly looks cooler with Sam considering the fact he has not enhancements besides the suit

it looks beautiful when two sam fighting each other

15:10 that was so perfectly timed lol

Seeing these mods makes me realise how much effort the animators put into the animations, you can actually tell that raiden and sam do very different styles of martial arts.

EDIT: I forgot the fact that raiden was self taught, but even so I think his moves are a mix between military tactics and ninjitsu/kung fu thrown in considering he does a lot of flips and fast movements.

"It's only the cold wind I feel"
So
Mistral and Sam were just having a good time

5:53 Sam jumping in happiness after Monsoon's praise

Fan-Story for this video: Sam has already fought Armstrong in dlc, but he didn’t join desperado, so he escapes. After a couple years, raiden goes to the same building. Armstrong is their, still need another man in desperado. Raiden fights Armstrong but couldn’t beat him, and he decides to surrender and join desperado. After another year, Sam has joined maverick, now with a new arm. He now has the mission to attack desperado. First he does the prologue mission, and is stopped by sundowner and Raiden. Raiden beats him on the train fight, with Sam being gunned down by the desperado escape helicopter. After that failed mission, He fights his way through the sewers of Denver, and goes to the same building, but is stopped by monsoon again. This time he fights monsoon, wins, then goes into the building. He then fights mistral, and wins. Then he makes it to the top of the building, sundowner is there, so what does he do? Gets his crap rocked by Sam. Sundowner tells him about their operation, now Sam has to fly to Abkhazia but we know what happens to the ship. So then he manages to land safely, try’s to escape Denver, and finds his old motorcycle. Then, he is stopped by raiden, Sam asked,”why did you leave maverick for these fools?”. “I realized that I am a true killer, after I fought Armstrong”. “Now your orders are to kill me?” Sam asked. “Yes” raiden replied. “Okay, let’s dance!”. Raiden dies. Then he continues his way to Abkhazia. He heads to the base, and gets stopped by Armstrong. Sam then fights Armstrong on top of the exelsus, but has his sword hit out of his hand. Suddenly, Raiden is alive and holds Armstrong back from Sam so he can get his katana back. Raiden then gets punched though the chest, dying. Then, Sam and Armstrong finish this war. Sam kills Armstrong pulling his heart out. Sam then leaves desperado to continue dispensing justice upon criminal, drug lords, and lawless gangs, riding his motorcycle through the world.

"Just me and me Sam"
-Jetstream Sam

The fact that Raiden's boss fight had its song ended with "For all our righteous crimes we compensate/But as for me it's far too late!" makes him so fitting as a possible villain while still keeping his character and story.

8:58 thats such a close sync DAMN IT
