Between this and some of the pre MCU movies, the Fantastic Four were just cursed with crap that had to be contractually obligated.

It’s crazy how much licensing shenanigans were going on for video games back in the day. Nowadays if they make a marvel game, they can basically put whoever they want

My brother questioned why does Doctor Doom sound like Imperfect Cell in this game, and now i can't unhear it.

Doom and Reed repeating the same lines

Sue: So are we agreeing that this is a Doombot then?

Ben: I'm betting money on it.

Johnny: I'm taking the risk. throws a $60 at the bet

Meanwhile at UMVC3

Dr. Doom: FOOTDIVE. bashes the brains of Wesker with his boots

Hsien-ko: Frank, are we... going to die? looks at him with worry

Frank West: Hsien-ko, to be real with you... we're 100% going to die. gives her a side eye

Dr. Doom: FOOTDIV-

Fant4stic Reed looks at Ben .gif

“Could you spell that?”

Low key, I feel like the Fantastic Four are kinda cursed when it comes to adaptations.
I am so happy that the "obscure retro Marvel games" thing is becoming it's own series! And while I don't think I would ever want to play this game, I can't fully hate a game that gave is that Mr. Fantastic dash animation LOL (I will, however, be jamming out to this game's OST)

Also, that tease at the end thooooo 👀

I'm excited to see Tokon vids someday...

Thumbnail is so good, It’s even funnier the second time

7:36 They're calling this the greatest walk cycle of all time

Fun fact: The game heavily uses generic sound libraries for its soundtrack so in one instance (the track called Sideburn Stan), the main guitar riff is identical to a song from Mickey's Magical Tetris Challenge (Donald Duck's theme) and there's another track directly pulled from Spyro 2: Rypto's Rage (I think it was the Dr. Doom boss fight, but I haven't played this title in forever. Made a now deleted video review of it almost 15 years ago where I pointed it out.)

If Doom was in MSHVSF I wonder if he would’ve had the same Hyper Combos he’d later obtain in MVC2. Like would Doom have Electric Cage, or would he get the Hyper Viper Beam he was initially gonna have like in the MVC2 concept art before it went to Cable?

Doom saying "that's not in my character" sounds like he's breaking the 4th wall.

DOOM LET US GO! YOU MANIAC!  DOOM! LET US GO, YOU MANIAC!  Imagine hearing that for hours lol.

Man, I wish we coulda gotten the Fantastic Four in the older Marvel vs games.
Seeing that era of Capcom's take on the FF would've been amazing.

This game’s ost could fit MvC2 rather well lmao

I don't envy early 3D developers who were struggling to put anything remotely resembling a famous character on screen.

Yo a sequel to the Iron Man video? Honestly, it'd be neat to see you cover other obscure Marvel games, but that's just wishful thinking.

2:02 Capcom was able to sneak the Baxter Building in the background of Spidey's stage in MvC1. I guess that much was either ok, or no one noticed!

My man 7th doing better and more thorough journalism and reporting than most mainstream news channels!
the quality of these vids is amazing
