This is in my opinion Steven King's very finest geniousit. Nothing comes close. Listen to the radical change in Charles Boone.. This is horror at its most gripping.
Please Steven may we have a little more?

I have listened to this performance so many times that I can recite the entire book now. To this day this is the single greatest audiobook performance ever.

Thanks for posting! Ive had this story rattling around in my brain for years and could never place it. I searched all the usual suspects as far as 'mythos' writers but always came up short. I totally forgot that King had dabbled in the mythos.

An outstanding homage to Lovecraft. Listen to the whole thing on the highway today. My obsession with the Lotverse grows more and more every day.

What gets Me is that Virtually Every Time I listen to this, I hear some detail or something that I didn't catch the last time I listened to this...Every Time
