That is the cleanest OM-10 I’ve ever seen

Man, brought this camera from store yesterday and winding lever was not working. Almost shed a tear assuming it is dead. Had no idea it requires batteries to function. Oh well, but now it feels very nice to use, sexy click of shutter too. Will be good learner for me.

Very helpful 🎉

Just got the batteries!!!

Nice

Thanks for the upload this is very helpful, Just Purchased a Olympus OM10.

Where did you find the red button? I can’t seem to find one that fits on Amazon.

NEVER handle these button batteries with bare fingers as perspiration on hands can migrate between + ^ - and deplete voltage by short circuit..........use a tissue when handling or hadnkerchief.

Love the video! Thank u so much. I have a question, I just bought a Flash for my camera, which setting should I use in the automatic mode to not have an overexposed photo?

Step 1:  Take off that stupid red "soft release button" and put it on a less valuable camera, like a Nikon or Canon. They are like a big target waiting for impact to break the internal mechanisms.

Also, a bit of warning:  when rewinding film, be sure to turn the rewind knob clockwise ONLY, never turn it backwards and never force. This will break either the rewind shaft or the collar that holds it. It may also result in "stress marks" on the film that appear as shadows radiating out from the sprocket holes in the film.
