That paper was punishment for leaking the previous papers

ohmygod these people in the comments talking about getting marks in 60s is actually scaring me because im barely gonna get in my 40s wtf

I feel like I'm barely getting a 22

when the examiner said flip through to make sure all the pages where printed when i saw question 7 my heart sank then when i looked flipped to the last page i could not stop looking at question 11
i had times i was abt to give up but told my myself that i have to wrrite something but i know i was cooked

7 marks down the drain because I couldn’t get a damn tangent and another 4 because I missed a question due to the new writing format on a separate sheet.

The paper was to difficult ,very bad experience,I was so confident before entering the exam hall .but was so disappointed after ,cause I spent more time on p1 to try to get the most marks out of since my p3 is weak 🙂

They just takin out their anger on the students at this point after all the leaks scenario and shit.

i did the first 5 questions in about 20 mins and the rest took alot of time, especially questions 7 and 10 gave me the hardest times!

I sat this paper for the first time and I had 2 papers that day Environmental Management 8291 and 9709/12. I couldn't sleep that night because I was over caffeinated so I doubled down and became even more caffeinated . I sat my first exam got a 5 minute break went into the 2nd exam (9707/12) and boy oh boy was I surprised to see the paper and yeah it went very bad surprise surprise.

Choosing this a$$ session was genuinely one of my worst decisions 😭 I already had an A secured in M/J 26 (61/75 in P1 and 42/50 in S1) but I withdrew thinking I could push for that A* instead 😭
Now the regret is hitting harder every single day🙂 I really fumbled the easiest route to an A just because I wanted that A* 😭🙏

yeah you are right,
i prepared really hard and aimed for high grades. i even got full marks in some of the yearly pastpapers and was able to finish my paper in 1h and 10min. that was insane.
i was devastated looking at the paper and as i reached the end, i knew that something was off.
it was more like i was doing an algebra exam rather than a math one. there were barely some questions that were purely numbers. now it doesn't mean that i was bad at algebra but that also doesn't mean that i was too good😐
i fear that the threshold is going to be high cause the same happened in this may june series too with the o level chemistry paper 4 that was hard too. All we can do is just hope🙃

heyy im from Mauritius and i've realised that Cambridge does not want us to predict their papers so they made an unpredictable of a hell of a paper HAHAHAHA ,,.. anyway , my advise is to work out some recent years exam papers + 2002-2010 for the rest something something... ^^

It’s more of the pattern shock, seeing 3 daunting circles qns staring at u while u do easier qns, and trying to check my ans took so much time like bruh

i just cant move on ughh,  i did alottttt of practrice, spammed sooooo many past papers and topical qns till an average cambridge paper would be easily automatic, then get into the exam and got suprised...

sure it was hard, prob getting a 67-68 on it but it took me off guard with the last question icl. also made minor mistakes in simple questions, probably cuzz of the pressure GGs
