Guardian Article: https://www.theguardian.com/sport/202...
The recent discourse surrounding LeBron James suggests he views Philadelphia as a workplace rather than a home. We examine the reality of this sentiment, questioning why the city is deemed suitable for his professional career but seemingly unworthy of his NBA lifestyle. This analysis breaks down the friction between a star athlete's career path and the personal image they cultivate in the cities where they play.
We look at the broader implications for the Philadelphia 76ers and how these narratives are constructed by basketball media to frame a player's connection to a fan base. By moving past the headlines, we determine if this is a fair critique of his priorities or simply another layer of the public image management that defines modern superstar athletes.

I had a brief sports argument with this dude inside the 2nd floor of a streetwear boutique on the same street as Suplex, just down the block.
He didn’t say anything about being a radio host. But the way the younger employees flocked to it with smiles on, made me assume he was the owner.
Funny dude, and he def knows basketball. I disagreed with him and butted in to a convo he was already having that day…
…but he is on point with this critique. Never even thought he was a local sports radio dude, since I can count on one hand the times I’ve been to Philly.
