Kerry Von Erich was such a hero, folks. All of them. But Kerry was such an agile specimen. His free-standing drop kick prior to his accident, was amazing. His claw, discuss, etc. He completely deserved to be NWA champion on merit alone. Don't let anyone tell you he got the belt because of sympathy for David.

The angle to have Kerry streachered out was the dumbest angle ever

Embry is a better interview than I expected. It sounds like he really knows the background.

If god created a wrestler, he would look like Kerry

Too bad he didn’t stay in the business as a booker or agent he seems to have a great mind for it

Trying to cover the 💩 with some sugar doesn't work, pal. The " chicken's way out" comment was uncalled for. No one knows exactly what Kerry was going through. You may have known some of it, but not all of it. Kerry deserves better than to be disrespected by insults disguised as compliments... You weren't on the same level as Kerry or any of the Von Erichs in my opinion!

Seems like the Von Erichs ended up going down the same way the Sheik lost his territory and various others, they didn't want anyone getting over too strong so it got old to the people.

He says Kerry was better than even David. I don’t agree with that in terms of being an overall performer.
I think David was more suited for the NWA, while Kerry was more suited for the WWF where being more marketable as he was more so than David would have benefited him

One of the biggest reasons for WCCW failed was Embry

That's crazy Tony Atlas also said that them killing every babyface or heel that showed potential to be a main draw financially and got over big with the crowd was a big part of the territory not lasting longer than it could had.
