Pir and Toothy are my favourite commanders! They’re extremely fun to play and super versatile.. currently have 3 decks built around them! One political, one with slimes against humanity and one with super friends

I'm floating around between a lot of decks right now as I try to zero in on my exact style and preferences. I also have Clive built, he's a lot of fun. The early game is very slow though.

I think my favorite color combo is Gruul and Temur though. Currently I'm having a blast playing both Eshki, Temur's Roar and Eshki Dragonclaw.

Obeka, Splitter of Seconds is the one I constantly go back to; the playstyle of using and abusing upkeeps has so much variation. Token generation/copying, voltron, slow burn, drain, control, artifacts...she can do it all. She's a little slow to get going, but with even a little leeway she just goes so hard with only a few key pieces.

My current iteration is packing the deck with forced card draw and punishing it (Scrawling Crawler, etc.). It's hilarious watching other players decide whether they want to keep me around to accelerate their gameplan, or take me out because the cost is getting a little too high.

I currently have two favourite commander decks that I keep coming back to:

1) Halsin, Emerald Archdruid.  Turning tokens into bears in fun, especially noncreature tokens!
2) Magda, the Hoardmaster.  It was my first attempt at a Mono-Red deck, and it's a budget Group Hug Spellslinger list that has won against decks with 10x the budget.  The mechanic of committing crimes is also so flexible that you could build the deck in so many different ways!

Your comment about extra turn spells in your esper equipment deck made me consider running them in my higher b3 noctis, heir apparent list. It usually struggles to close out the game and instead has to rely on control pieces to keep up with everyone else. I think running a couple extra turn spells would be a lot of fun and make the deck closer to what I want it to look like. It helps that the deck has such quick turns anyways because it usually is just a big swing and pass.

It's cool seeing the decks you enjoy playing the most. You get to play test a lot of decks for this channel. I like hearing what people enjoy playing the most.

Radagast is my new fav commander.  It looks like a mono green stompy deck but I built it as a oops, Eldrazi deck 😂

Thank God you built a discard deck. I've been longingly staring at my glint horn bucaneer and monument to endurance for like a month now wishing I could figure out how to build a deck around them 📈

I am now in a state where I build monocolour group hug / politics decks.

My commanders right now are

MonoredAvatar Roku - getting 6 mana every single combat and goading all stuff of other people and politic on who gets the +6 buff is super fun

Mono Blue Braids - everyone gets to play their cool stuff, she scales with the table a lot and you can either build her super OP with Eldrazis or go a little bit under the radar.
My playgroup is in love with her

Mono White Yume, Chronicler of Valor

She is like an item shop, play with your cards open and sell players cards they can use against other players.

Would love to see a take from you on monocolored fun stuff

Your deck choices are all things I would totally play. I don't know why that is so often not the case with other content creators. Awesome video.

i really like Gut, True Soul Zealot, makes a bunch of 4/1 menace skeleton tokens tapped and attacking

I ended up getting a copy of Radagast from my friend the other day.  I'm still trying to work on a build after you pointed out all the things it can do in this and previous videos.

Great video I am glad i saw Jin Sakai in that video i really do think he is extremely fun commander very simple(depends on your build i guess) and a lot of cool effects.
Because the strategy is so ummm easy to understand you don't need to use complicated stufff to play.

8:05 ...With an underworld breach. I didn't realize we were playing Clive as a combo deck. Maybe that's why my version didn't work and fell apart to board wipes.

7:45 you cant actually flip Clive back and forth unless you give him haste. He exiles himself and then re-enters so hes summoning sick.

Currently rolling with a Sauron Dino devotee deck. It turns out there are quite a few mana dorks that have combat abilities, and quite a few low power creatures that buff other creatures based on power...

I've been loving my Tetzin, Gnome Champion deck, everyone is always so surprised with what that deck can do even after playing against it several times. I've also just put my Ellivere of the Wild Court deck back together and it's just as fun as I remember 💙

Megatron is one of my favorite commanders! I built him with Vehicles as his Decepticon army and has a lot of recursion!

Terra, Herald of Hope is so cool i decided to separate the ideas i had for her into separate lists with some common elements, but thanks to her pseudo-rummage i can use her and other reanimators to make a party synergy list
Terra - Wizard/Warrior depending on the need
Aleshas - both are Warriors
Venerable Warsinger - Cleric
Bilbo, Unexpected Adventurer - Rogue
a bunch of combat damage and you end up having the entire party without much trouble, but there's some flex room like having firdoch core or black market connections to get that one remaining class in a pinch, and of course burakos

i’m so happy that you turned me onto Clive as a commander. By far one of my favorite decks to play! I’m curious if you’ve updated your deck list at all since you made the original videos? There were some really exciting new cards released for this strategy like Cool but Rude
