Tary's introduction is one of the best Sam moments.

Matt’s sheer amusement and enjoyment of Tary’s antics is so much fun to watch

Nobody pushes Laura's buttons like Sam.

The funniest thing is Liam hugging sam like only 20 mins earlier thinking he was wrapping things up, only for Tary to pop up xd

2:01 - I love how increasingly offended Laura appears after realizing what Sam had essentially trolled them all with Scanlan’s emotional exit just to bring in this guy 😂

his breakdown is one of the top critical role moments of all time lmao

0:16 I like to think Travis was the only one who figured out that Sam had a new character before the reveal.

"You, little elf girl, what's your name?"

Laura came within a hair's breadth of spontaneously combusting right there.

"Are you famous?"
"Of course I am."

the crucible of improvised dialogue can be so perfect sometimes. Sam instantly says a line that is funny, telling, indicative and boastful as fuck altogether, and it perfectly sets up the facade Taryon is trying to put out. god i love Sam

Liam in general in Taryon’s intro is just so funny. Whether it’s him ripping out his heart and slamming it on the table, or him saying “show me on the character sheet where the bad DM touched you, he is just so funny on top of Sam’s perfection in this scene.

This is going to be fun Fun FUN!

I still love Sam for Taryon. It was such a good, funny but real mirror for the group at that point. Taryon is every 'annoying' aspect of the other characters in one person. Making them aware that they were a bit obnoxious at that stage without making it a big issue.

Is shit like this why I love campaign 1 so much

6:11 The table breaks down cause of what Sam done to them
14:05 Sam messing w Laura

20:11 percy is sharp, that does happen 🤣

Tary wormed his way into all their hearts by the end ❤

39:26 well to be fair Keyfish also thought she was a god 😂

I always pictured Doughty as a man size Iron giant

Is this the origin of Darrington Press??

Wow, I feel so late to the adventuring party.

24:01 "I am a self-starter in my own mind" >> 1d10 psychic damage to everyone but Grog 😂
