Since this video is fairly old, Tommy has changed alot. He was 15/16 when he gained popularity and now he's 22. I recently started watching his 100 questions show and I can't believe it's the same dude

Since techno's passing tommy got like a legit diagnosis for depression and he's not as high energy anymore but I also feel like the content he makes is so much more intentional and artistic :) really worth checking out

44:51 actually he really did do that lmao. Man has ADHD. They even showed a screenshot of their discord chat where the materials are listed, and that's also one of the reasons why MCC Championships staff had to randomize the materials ever since then!

Technoblade had a really, realllyyy dedicated yet unhinged way of winning certain things, and he always ended up making the rules of the games change because of his ingenuity. Another example is him killing people on Bingo; now it's not allowed, of course, but he's the only one who thought of doing that. He's kinda like a great bug tester. Unhinged and very exasperating to the staff/admins of the game

1:12:14 “I don’t think he’s quitting anytime soon”.
Ouch! That was hard to hear

Tommy was so young during this - I can't believe it. Look at him 😭
Actually, if you end up watching any of those SMP Earth videos, it's really sweet to see how attentive Techno actually was to Tommy - even when it seemed like other creators like Will (etc etc) were genuinely starting to get annoyed at times. Techno made it jokey and likely knew how much Tommy looked up to him (his "hero") - so even during SMP Earth he played along and it made for extremely funny ongoing gags and shit.
Damn I miss them.

52:02 It was a charity event, all the money went to a charity chosen by the player you donated to

tommy has made a video dedicated to Techno every year since his passing. Their friendship was so special to Tommy you should watch those

5:21 this really shows the videos age. The steering wheel video isn’t even a top 10 best anymore and also has doubled in views

Technoblade Never Dies

29:24 Essentially what happened is that hackers got access to the server's IP and back end, which allowed them to not only acquire the IP's of pretty much any creators present for that day in the event and so they ended up breaking the entire server through console and giving themselves operator (basically server admin permissions ingame), and so the event ended halfway through after the hackers banned everybody from the server

oh him reviewing 6 hours of vlogs is exactly something techno would do, that aint ragebait xD

reaction content has personally been the savior of my boredom this past year. watching somebody discover something you're deeply interested in and getting to see their first introduction is a really comforting feeling. so don't undervalue yourself like that man. most of us have already watched these videos plenty of times—we're watching for your take on it •ᴗ•

Tommy has grown a lot as a creator and he has a ton of really interesting videos !! Worth mentioning that his humor at the time IS him being 16 in 2020-2021 😭

Before you pass judgement on Tommy, he was SO YOUNG here-- and he idolized Techno more than anyone. Even when he was being "annoying" it was fully as like a little brother that just wanted his hero's attention, and Techno (who had multiple little siblings himself) was actually very patient with him, it was all just a joke for the views. The Tommy of today is an adult, and after losing Techno he's an entirely different person... honestly it kind of hurts my heart to watch all this again and see how bright and excited he used to be.

Like yeah in the moment maybe he's annoying but I had to pause the video and defend him a bit as he was just a kid, and millions of people watched him get his heart broken over and over--during this walk down memory lane I don't want to blame him for just being the kid he was. He deserved to have fun while he could, like all kids do.

gotta watch the philza vid next pls

Back when he was doing skywars content mostly he was considerd a good skywars player but not a good pvper by a lot of people. Other pvp youtubers always defended him because although not the most technically skilled pvper he was a very smart one. He new when and how to pick a fight he could win. Even in his Dream 1v1 he didn't know how to crit hits worked in the newer version but still won 2 of the 5 fights in the newer version through knowing when to attack and when to run away and regain health.

Rip techno. You'll always be missed and we'll fight on in your honor. Technoblade never dies!

I learned and knew Technoblade literally a month before his passing. It was such a short time, and I didn't expect it to affect me as much as it did.

For the techno v dream duel u need to react to the animatic by the same artist u watched  SADist
