Hey ya'll! In this story, a guy starts getting angry messages from his former company’s HR woman after she accuses him of “illegally using” a photo taken while he worked there. She threatens him, lectures him, and acts like she owns his face. The twist comes when he mentions it over dinner with his old boss, and a few days later she’s suddenly fired.

You’d think that would be the end of it, but no. She shows up again on Instagram, stalking his posts like it’s her new full-time job.

Was he wrong for saying something, or did this HR disaster just get herself fired? 💅

As someone born with an invisible disability this story hits close to home. Having said that people saying you are too young for a disability is a perfect chance to make them look stupid. My preferred line is. How old do you need to be to feel pain?

I think that in the first story, Charlotte has glossed over the fact that the HR person contacting him in he middle of his night, which is not something that they are supposed to do.

Fun fact about service dog owners: we often have to tell people a fake name for our service dogs because the first thing people do is start calling the dog's name, giving commands, etc.

IF YOU DO THIS, it isn't cute and it's the equivalent of going up yo someone in a wheelchair and forcing your way into their chair to try it out.

I lost my hearing in my one ear when I was 17. I hear "you're too young" so much that I started responding with "so babies are never born with issues? Like children can never get cancer." It does help them realize they're wrong.

Just an FYI, according to the Americans with Disabilities Act you cannot ask for a service dogs paperwork, however you CAN legally ask what task or skill the animal is trained to perform.

Dancer guy story: He was probably complimenting her saying she's gorgeous for the same reason women are polite when rejecting a guy. They're scared of hurting feelings or what they might do if they feel insulted.

As a guy who has performed. A compliment to a crazy girl be it at work or our of work is standard. Was always told to be kind and nice. You never know who knows who and what word gets around.

FYI: It is NOT OK to ask for documentation for service animals. 1. It doesn’t exist 2. The only thing you’re allowed to ask is if it is a service animal & what tasks it is trained to do. I really do not understand why people have such a problem with service animals! They’re highly trained, obedient and don’t cause problems. You can tell the difference between a SA & a regular dog based on behavior alone.

In the USA real service dogs are not required to have documentation and you're only allowed to ask two questions
1. Is it a service dog?
2. What tasks does it do?
That's it, there's no registry, there's no paperwork, nothing like that. But businesses are allowed to ask any dog handler to leave if the dog is being disruptive or is acting up.

5:39 A lot of states are "at will employment" states meaning an employer can fire an employee at any time for any reason, or no reason, as long as it's not an illegal one. Similarly, an employee can quit at any time for any or no reason without facing legal consequences.

06:10 And, she did it via email so the Company had the receipts! In the US, most Companies are "at will" meaning they can fire you for any reason at any time with the understanding that unless the firing was for gross misconduct the Company would be subject to pay out unemployment. Firing for gross misconduct (an act that can jeopardize the business and/or reputation) means no unemployment payout for the former employee. Her vitriol pro'ly means they had p,enty of receipts 😂😂!! She fired herself, in that instance.

This HR person wasn’t just fired for calling OP about the photo. There must have been other things. The bullying and harassing is probably not limited to OP.

17:00 he called her gorgeous because this girl has shown she can be unpredictable, she’s stalking him and not taking no for an answer. He’s trying to say no in a nice way to placate her because for all he knows she could whip out a knife and stab him if he says the wrong thing

19:16 In the United States its illegal to ask for service dog paperwork. Company are only allowed to ask 1. Is that a service dog? 2. What tasks is the dog trained to help you with. There is no official service dog certificate or paperwork.
