I watched this with my good friend and his brothers live in 1990. We had been playing Blades of Steel earlier, eating “Bingo Pizza” here in Montreal, and also playing with those electronic cars on tracks that would fly off the track every two seconds. Man, what a time to be alive.

Jesse Ventura's final episode of Saturday Night's Main Event. Jesse would leave the WWF a couple weeks later due to a dispute with Vince McMahon over a video game project that Jesse was gonna do with Sega Genesis. Vince told Jesse " if you do this your finished", & Jesse simply said "Ok I'm finished", & Jesse left the WWF just like that.

This was just a perfect time to be alive. The early 90s were peak everything.

We need a compilation video of all the times Hebner hurt his ankle in matches

I had never noticed what great in-ring facial expressions Rude had. When I was watching as a kid, I remember hating Rick Rude, which means he did his job well, I suppose. Talented guy gone too soon, like so many from this era of wrestling.

It's bittersweet watching this. At least half of these guys are no longer with us: Ravishing Rick, The Brain, The Warrior, Mean Gene, Lord Alfred, Hulk, Earthquake, Dino Bravo, Crush, The Anvil, Hawk & Animal, Mr. Perfect, Kerry Von Erich, Buddy Rose. RIP all, and thanks for the memories.

Such a strange, strained, yet special chemistry between Jesse The Body Ventura and Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Rip to all these guys that have passed. The hulkster had the shockmaster in his corner. That's all he needed.

Crowd was going crazy for Tito to win. He was always over, he easily could have won the IC title again in this era

Baby Blue Strap that Warrior wore on the WWF title is so sweet here🔥❤️

As a kid I remember being pumped when I found out it was a Saturday Night Main Event week.

The Ultimate Warrior and the RAVISHING one had great matches

Remember turning on SummerSlam ‘90 at the time and wondering where Ventura had gone. Was a huge loss! Wasn’t the same until “The Brain” became a regular on the PPV commentary.

Texas Tornado with no tassels is just not right!

Having Warrior and Rude wrestle on free TV just weeks before their major PPV main event completely deflated any fan anticipation for Summerslam.

Thank you for uploading some of the old classics I miss watching this stuff when I was a kid

They had some great tag teams during that time all in their prime. The Rockers, Demolition, The Road Warriors, and the Hart Foundation, and I know I'm missing a few others.
