This is exactly what we all are saying Ghoul. If you're burnt out since the dragon video, that's been a fucking long time my guy. Ramming your head over and over into the wall to try and break out of your dominatrix' chains that you ASKED her to put on you ain't gonna fix this. This was brutal, and I can see it. And that the fun you had was limited to non-existant, if I may be so forward. It doesn't have to be Ark all the time my guy. You can try and branch out into some other games as well.
I for my part watch your videos because of you. Not your gameplay or tips how to play Ark or hell, even Ark itself. I've discarded the game since more than a year. You're one hell of a funny guy. You have a charm and charisma coupled with the jokes/act to match, and that's what makes me come back to you over and over again. I couldn't give a shit what you play as long as it's your editing and your voiceover, because it's so unique to me. I'm just a stranger on the internet, but I care about you Ghoul. You don't deserve to burn yourself out on this. Have a little confidence in your skills. You have the personality to entertain. I know I'm reaching hard on all this, and maybe all that you said was just a joke, but to me this sounds like there is a fleck of truth in your words about being burnt out. Just remember that I care. Ghoul, for your own sanity, please do a normal run of Ark. Hell, make it even easier. Ark but with way too many QOL mods would actually be a really fun one to do

It feels like one of the core ideas for the mod was "To ensure that players can't cheese it with OP mods I'll make them a requirement"

I had to turn player damage to stupid low levels because I got tired of being killed off my fucking dino over and fucking over again. But with the damage coming from higher tier bosses, it didn't make a god damn difference. I'm up to T5 on my run and I've hated basically every moment since excellent bosses. Eventually I just turned on death auto trap with DinoDept because I simply don't have time to keep taming new shit and farming their upgrade mats to replace the ones that die, because you can't breed the higher end creatures.

Having just finished the video, how funny, Ghoul quit the mod at the EXACT same point I have. Though I never figured out the tamed dino settings so... yeah, I did it on the "hard" preset. Uh, thanks for letting me know that was a thing. That explains why I had to mutate the fuck out of every single goddamn tier to progress... which stopped working, because, you can't breed the later stuff... and the mutation stats do NOT get transferred over when upgrading a dino. Only the WILD STATS. Yeah, after watching this, I don't think I'm going back to playing this stupid fucking mod.

Ghoul is all the proof I need that: every experience in life is filled with fun or F.U.N. (F#cked Up Nonsense)... there is no in-between

That's the only thing I didn't like about Primal Fear. This mod and I'd even say Primal Chaos and Nemesis all suffer from the same thing. Once you defeat Pikkon and Nova, You've basically finished the entire mod. The only things that are left are "grind the same thing 64 times to unlock new boss with rewards that don't even matter, anymore, because you have access to everything already and it's just a trophy kill."

I always thought those “legendary refresh pull” comments were silly until it happened to me.
