Soo...now after we have already done quite A LOT of Golden covers...which one is your favorite overall??

I became a fan of Dahye when she covered Armageddon by Aespa as a ballad. Her shorts on Instagram is so funny too. I'm glad she's receiving the flowers she deserved!!

19:12  ONF MinKyun's voice is so very very great👍👍👍👍👍

I've been looking for reactions of Dahye Golden cover. I gave up and tried again 5 min later you popped up😢❤ thank you

19:21 yes Minkyun his voice is sooooo unique !!!!

I knew you were going to save the "most complex" for last, Coach Katriinka. I avoided using "best" in recognition of individual subjectivity and out of respect for the other singers and their fans. But as Coach Katriinka and many others have said, Sohyang is just fundamentally more solid that she could afford to perform upgrades just for fun to a song that for many is already a monstrous challenge requiring every ounce of focus and concentration. Sohyang's body language and smiles say it all.

Sohyang's second Golden take, after fans went nuts and begged her to do this song with a mic and better audio, also gives a glimpse of her musical creativity and how she would’ve approached this song had it been done in a studio setting with backing singers and layers of harmony  (although only one is shown side by side). Sohyang seems to also recognize that she needs to tone down both the amount and power of her belt to cater to a broader audience, so as not to overpower those who have never been exposed to her, instead of just letting loose to her heart's content like in the phone version. The end result is just ... [chef's kiss].

For me, what makes Dahye's studio version so good is that she was able to convey the emotion as in the original. She may not have the highest vocals but she has the best delivery for this song. For those who loved the Dahye's version, I recommend checking her channel out and also watch out for the upcoming song release of her collab with Maktub which will be available on Melon Music.

Haha...i still Remember Dahye's Korean cover of We dont talk anymore😂😂😂

Sohyang has two covers of this song. This particular one was recorded mostly for fun; she wasn't very serious, performing in a soundproof booth with no echo without mic only her phone, resulting in a very isolated voice competing with loud music. In the second version, she sang the main melody and higher harmony together, performing more 'properly' with precise tempo and incorporating chest, mix, and head voices. You should definitely check the second version! ❤

my fav is dahye! I've been following her for a while now and I like a few of her covers

Sohyang recorded this video on her phone. It's crazy. Then, a few days later, she uploaded a studio-recorded version. If you haven't heard it, you absolutely must! It's unbelievably amazing.

There are many wonderful covers of this song, but apparently the legendary Eunkwang of BTOB will be doing a cover of this famous song as well.  I hope you will react to it if it ever get posted ☺

Minkyun's voice is unique but soft, and his songs are adorable. His self-composed songs and cover songs are charming, so please listen to them. His K-pop group ONF's songs are also very hopeful and cool, too!!

Minkyun's cover is simply fabulous!!  Really enjoyed his cover....it's simply lovely and uniquely Minkyun.   He was not copying, he was innovating his own version.   Love it MOST!

I discovered Dahye with this cover and she really doesn't stop surprising me, If I can advise you one of his covers it's this one,

Maktub -  The child of the beginning,

She sang it in the same show and there is also a version on her channel, but the first remains my favorite, I also like to see people shocked 😅

minkyun💚

thank you for reacting to minkyun!! ❤

It seemed like a challenge for this song had just started, and I noticed many people were reminded of her when it came to vocals; they were leaving lots of comments asking her to do a cover. Not long after that, “Golden by Sohyang v1.0” was uploaded with the video description by her like "I did some mistakes LOL".  I think that was her way of enjoying it herself while letting fans enjoy it too. Personally, I preferred this raw version in the anechoic room over the v2.0 mixing version where the vocals were split between two people. Sitting down with a ATEEZ cushion, smiling brightly and singing naturally - there was something really cool about that atmosphere. It wasn’t just about hitting high notes; she also had the best groove with the beat, and even added vibrato, which made it sound more easy peasy.
They said that when she records her own songs, she does all the backup vocals herself. And even when she practices alone, she sings to maintain her usual feel for music. That’s why she always practices chorus parts as well. After doing it so much, it just comes out like that naturally, not to show off. I really hope people don’t get it wrong.

Dahye has production versions as well as the karaoke..shes the best. The trending video has been remixed with both her OWN versions 🎉

Park Dahye! I fell in love with her singing about 2 years ago in her "I got lucky cover." Please listen to it.
