This repair is more expensive than to bye a new one .

I been doing aluminum weld for many years, that kind of weld create more oxidation surface, and not strong...use low temp alloy rod n butene torch will be enough..

Even though I'm a fan of DYI and experimenting in general, I cannot stress enough that what you do here is actually one of the most dangerous things you can do at home.

Turning an old microwave teansformer into a spot welder is a common hack, but to anyone lacking the necessary understanding of electricity it can be lethally dangerous.

If you choose to do this, make sure to put the device on an insulated enclosure, make sure to add switches and warming lights to ensure that you can see if the device is on or not.

Enjoy but stay safe! Otherwise a cool vid.

Title correction:  "How to join aluminum with near zero strength from someone who understand ZERO of metallurgy  or welding."  That said, my kind of 'can do' (usually) hacker.

I'm watching it well from south Korea.

Every time I watch your videos, I'm inspired to scale new creative summits. Grateful for your inspiring productions!

I always thought welding aluminum was impossible without pro gear. Turns out it’s way easier than I imagined — I even made a simple demo on my channel for anyone curious to see how it really works.

Muito mais fácil e seguro comprar um manete novo !!

Genial, Schraube präparieren als Gewindeschneider und Träger.

Thanks!

I’ve tried using a microwave transformer before, but I never thought of combining it with an M3 bolt and electrical wire like this

That's really totally straightforward.
😅

Buena demostracion compartida ,grasias

Genial! Saludos desde Bs As
