We continue exploring El Nido, Philippines, with another day of spectacular islands, hidden beaches, and incredible limestone scenery—before slowing things down and discovering another side of El Nido.

Our journey takes us to some of El Nido’s most memorable places, including Helicopter Island, Matinloc Shrine, Secret Beach, and Hidden Beach. After another day on the water, we spend our next day exploring El Nido town, trying local cafés and bakeries, and taking a long tricycle ride to beautiful Nacpan Beach.

From tropical islands and hidden beaches to a quiet sunset on our final night, this was the perfect way to finish our first journey through El Nido.

This is the final El Nido chapter of our nine-day journey through Coron and El Nido in Palawan.

This footage was filmed in 2022 during our first trip together, before we started this YouTube channel. We were not making a proper vlog at the time, but this journey eventually became the starting point of the travel videos we create today.

After our first island-hopping experience in El Nido, we head out again to discover even more of Palawan’s incredible scenery.

This time, our journey takes us to places such as Helicopter Island and Matinloc Shrine, where we climb up through the limestone rocks and find an incredible view over the surrounding islands and turquoise sea.

We also visit Secret Beach, swimming through a small opening in the rocks to reach the hidden area inside, before continuing to Hidden Beach. Surrounded by enormous limestone cliffs and tropical water, these places show us another side of what makes El Nido so special.

The next day, there is no island hopping. Instead, we explore El Nido on land.

We head into El Nido town, stop at Art Cafe, try El Nido Bakery, and walk around the streets before setting off for Nacpan Beach.

Getting there turns into an adventure of its own. It is a surprisingly long tricycle ride, but when we finally arrive, we get to relax by the beach and stay until sunset. Even more surprising, our tricycle driver waits for us the whole time so he can take us back afterward.

As darkness falls, the ride back becomes a little more exciting than expected. With very few lights along the road—and even some tricycles driving without headlights—we are once again impressed by how the local drivers manage it so easily.

Finally, we spend our last evening in El Nido watching a calm and beautiful sunset and enjoying the final moments of our stay.

The following morning, it is time to say goodbye to El Nido. We head to El Nido Airport and fly back to Manila, bringing our first adventure through Coron and El Nido to an end.

From snorkeling and kayaking to hidden beaches, tropical islands, local food, long tricycle rides, and unforgettable sunsets, Palawan gave us so many experiences that were completely new to us.

And for Hiro, who had barely even heard of El Nido before this trip, it became a place he would never forget.
