Kabuto's backstory genuinely brings me to tears on every reread/rewatch. The longing for identity, for home is something so foundational to the human experience that it makes this character who many saw as a shallow, smarmy and egotistical errand boy/wannabe big bad as someone inherently relatable. The scene of him trying to heal his mum only for her to ask who he is is such a vivid gut punch even now.

Kabuto is an S tier henchmen. Ride or die for Orochididler

I feel like Kabuto is so underrated and everybody still give him a meh out of 10. Despite Kishimoto having his own time to write a backstory, especially the fact his entire theme is his lost of identity and when he's trying to find it desperately, which is also similar to Kisame.

Glad somebody is waking up and appreciating him even more.

kabuto was always one of my fav naruto characters , his conclusion with itachi is honestly my fav moment in all of naruto

I always loved kabuto

I feel there's an understated dynamic/foil between Kabuto and Obito as well. Obito becomes another person Kabuto clings onto and honestly I think they're both the most similar to each other in terms of a complete lack of understanding of who they are, and their respective dissociative philosophies

I always liked Kabuto, from like the get go. His demeanor actually reminds me of a friend called Thomas. His powers were cool, and I always had a thing for the spy trope. I felt like they should have had more honestly, being a show about ninjas and all. And him turning out to be a triple agent is so cool, it made it hard to tell what he was serving, wanted. I love a good mystery.
And then the reveal was just, it hurts my heart so much.

When I was six, I was hurt really bad, all I can remember is .. "red" and blur. I never got over the amnesia, though some stuff did come back. Like.. it's horrifying, around the time I was in third grade (like, 9-10 years) I had so much identity related issues I wanted to do unmentionable things to myself..

It took many years of therapy and a loving family to pull me from the brink.
So even though it isn't as bad as Kabuto 's, I felt a deeper connection to him there.

Also shout-out to fake Kabuto for being a slightly gremlin version of the real deal.

13:48 [real talk right here] I won't lie, I'm genuinely surprised that someone else could've understand the character deeply at this point. You have all my respect

Kabuto became one of my favorites after the war arc. and then being able to see his entire Sad, backstory. i appreciate him so much

He’s always been top 3 to me, I never understood how people keep acting like he’s a mid character. He’s so well fleshed out

Kabuto was great

I feel like a hidden detail that’s missed is when kabuto becomes a perfect sage, and faces the uchia brothers, his snake eyes camouflage shield him from the genjutsu prowess of the uchia, but also cover his real eyes and glasses

Peak character

I am suprised that Kabuto didin't consinder that Orichimaru was still living in the Juuins and just have to place a bit of a snake body and reverse seal to revive him😮

I always thought kabuto was one of the best characters, regardless of his actions, or maybe because of his scenes were better than most any other character. He went up against Kakashi as a child and survived

Thank you for putting the light on one of the coolest :) and strongest ;) character in the Naruto verse, ma man 🔥❤️

So glad the vid is back up

Dang… This go deep towards the end. Great video man!

I relate to him so much

He need more love, and so is the video. Really enjoyed it 🤲🏾💎👍🏾
