I flew from Los Angeles (LAX) to London (LHR) with British Airways in economy, then flew back from London to LAX in first class, to find out if the first class food and experience is really worth it compared to the economy ticket.

I break down the full in-flight meal service, snacks, drinks (yes, champagne in first class), and everything that comes with each cabin. From pre-flight lounge access to multi-course dining at 35,000 feet, this is a full comparison of plane food at two wildly different price points.

A special thanks to all the crew on the flight

I feel for cameraman. Dude had to travel back alone on economy.

That you didn't film giving the biscuits to the crew was fantastic! I've grown to dread someone filming gifting because it ends up feeling disingenuous rather than the kindess you actually showed. Thank you!

I love Harrisons videos, he’s not a snob and genuinely is passionate about the food

4:10 ... Alcohol tastes weaker on a plane due to a combination of factors including lower cabin air pressure and reduced humidity. These conditions can dull your taste buds and make it harder to detect subtle flavours, leading to the perception that the alcohol is less intense.

little scientific fact for ya! the reason that tomato tasted so good (and why people crave tomato juice on planes) is the umami flavor increase due to the dry cabin and noisy environment making it more desirable. Pretty weird but interesting!

Getting your crew a gift is always a good shout on a long flight

22:35 If you are wondering: That button is the OXYGEN CREW SUPPLY pushbutton. Controls a solenoid valve that delivers stored oxygen from some small tanks to flightcrew oxygen masks.
