We always do an over the water cabana. I like having my own space.

Loved hideaway beach when I went last year. Going again this month! 🎉

I pay to go to Hideaway Beach and will be there for my 9th time on June 25. Otherwise, , , , CocoCay is a really great 'beach day'. Like you said, everybody goes to Chill Island and it does get kinda crowded but yes, you go to South Beach and it's "where did everybody go". BUT, I've cruised with folks who had never seen the ocean and after a day at CocoCay they are Totally OMG!

We are just back a week today from our little Viking of the Seas Royal Caribbean cruise from Baltimore. Stopped at Nassau & Bermuda & of course COCO CAY! Our 4th RC cruise, second time at Coco Cay. All day on the beach. Swimming in the ocean, not crowded (even with two ships docked), ocean swimming, Oasis pool basking in clear warm fresh water. Pro tip - swim in the ocean first then the Oasis pool. Great FREE food, free umbrellas, free seats, free ocean, free pool. We didn’t spend one red cent! FREE ALL day. Sunshine, breeze, ocean water swimming, crystal clear water at Oasis. Didn’t spend one extra dime. Save your money just go and enjoy the FREE BEACh day at Coco Cay. Trust me, I worked for the Government.

A couple points:

1. I'm not a beach person, but I love Perfect Day at Coco Cay.Lots of great variety. Very clean.
2. The Coco Beach Club beach is not better or worse than the other beaches on the island. It's a little less crowded. It seems more like hanging out at a nice hotel beach compared to a public beach.
3. The food on the island is genuinely good. Beach club is even better.
4. The beach club has day beds included on a first come, first served basis. The price of a day bed is frequently about the same as the price of the beach club, so can be excellent value.
5. I stayed in a waterpark cabana once. It was a great experience and includes 6 waterpark admissions. Depending on the pricing on your sailing, it can be a great option.

Perfect day is amazing. Make it what you will. There’s a lot of great free value here. Included food. Beverage package transitions over. Included activities. Tram system to get around.

I've been to CocoCay over 20 times, starting when it was just a beach. I did the water park twice, once when they just opened, which cost $58 pp, and once with my granddaughter, at about $79. Otherwise, I have never paid a dime there, and we have a great time. I love all the free food, and I can use my diamond vouchers for drinks. We generally hang out at the pool, and I love the fact that all the lounges have umbrellas.

We go on RC in April and August. Hideaway beach in April for the heated pool and a bed in August. Last time we just went to a beach it was crowded and a few obnoxious people made sure that was what we would do in future. (FWIW there was a voyager and oasis class ship there that day)

Included. Free forgets my cost of the cruise lol :D That said, in Caribbean the cruise islands are usually the best stop! We paid for a cabana in the hideaway...the ones with their own pool. Got a crazy discount but still pricey. Worth it for us.

We pay for water park entry and that is worth it but pricey. The first time one of our kids wasn't tall enough so we skipped it, and just hung around the island and that was plenty of fun too. Haven't had a need for a cabana or anything, but I would go on the balloon but haven't convinced anyone else to go with me yet.

Splish Splash on Long Island is a solid $70pp so I can imagine that crowd not blinking an eye. I clutch my pearls at the price for local entertainment but I’d prolly pay it on a cruise with my boys. Maybe

@teslatalk42069 3 months ago

Thank you for calling it Coco K because clearly Royal named it perfect day at Coco K for it to rhyme. I cannot stand when people call it Coco key

@bossybella08 4 months ago

Absolutely love coco beach club...worth every penny!

@teslatalk42069 3 months ago

At some point before your cruise, the passes will go for 50% off to Coco Beach

❤Thank you again for your sage advice!🎉

The only thing we pay for is scuba diving excursion. We bring our own gear. It’s not an all day experience and the dive masters are really good people. There isn’t too many private islands that offer this.

Spending extra on Coco Cay😮(Pearl clutch). Was my response as a younger parent. Now, I am.older travel with my Young adult broke best friends and my sisters from other misters and the last 3 times at Cococay I splurged for Beach beds. Guuurl, This was Nyyyyyce.

Our next trip I got a beach Cabana at Coco Beach club for $1200. There will be 6 of us. IKR.

@TxGambler77 4 months ago

Ive watched many vloggers vover coco cay, but youre thr first one ever to tell me it was an extea cost! I never knew

@loririad4565 2 months ago

What would you consider a good price that would make you splurge on the beach club?

@ricflair8863 4 months ago (edited)

We will be there next Monday on Celebrity Edge. Not planning to pay for any additions- but this video has got me thinking about Coco Beach Club 🤔 Positive thoughts on the weather, please! EDIT: Coco Beach Club is sold out. For $197 per person we probably would not have done it anyway!!! Now to research the FREE-INCLUDED options.
