There was a time when we were proud of our journalist.

Journalism in its truest spirit is not merely about reporting events; it is about speaking truth to power, holding institutions accountable, and giving a voice to those who are often unheard.

I enjoy the mystique more than trying to guess at identities of people. 😊

Indian Feudal service...hope our IFS has changed as a Professional sevice taking India as a prominent Global leader and by 2047 driving India to be a developed country using technology as the driver of the growth . This intended growth needs massive global investments which China got in 1980s and 1990s, made China a USD 20 trillion economy making them capable to stand up to USA. Our IFS service should take India to a USD 25 trillion global economy by 2047 , respected global power in prosperity and defense capabilities. Make next 3 decades to be India's.

Need to hear and understand these experiences from senior journalists. Good for country. Good to know foreign policy is in good hands.

IPS deals with own country people. So have to be more tolerant. They get to see worst forms of humanity. They should be thick skinned. IFS are dealing with foreigners, slightest innuendo should be understood and dealt with. But corruption of anykind is the worst enemy.
