Welcome to The Completionist Chronicles — my journey through my gaming backlog, the games I've 100% completed, and the ones that stayed with me.

2022 wasn't about one genre or one kind of game. I played horror, roguelikes, open-world, Souls-likes — pretty much everything. From web-slinging through New York and diving into dark mob stories, to mastering brutal roguelikes and exploring Lands Between, these are the 8 games that defined my 2022 gaming year — including Elden Ring, Hades, Resident Evil Village, and my Game of the Year, God of War.

Let's look back at my Year of Favorites and see why these games earned their spot on the list.
