Jacob being the weak link while yelling at everyone else that they're incompetent is strong Ratatony energy

Jacob doing an incredible impersonation of an actual horrible boss restaurant owner/manager. Would fit right in on kitchen nightmares.

Nothing delights me more than hearing Julia's little pleased giggles while being an uncooperative little shit in a video game.

If you guys want a fun free similar game Bronzebeard's tavern has the same level of crazy and is Ai free and the game is free!!

It fucking sucks that AI usage doesn't have to be clearly indicated on steam (or in general)! I hate having to go on a whole investigation before I can enjoy goddamn anything... Sorry this happend to you guys

Ah, apparently there is also a MAGA hat according to steam reviews. That, and the undisclosed genAI is a swing and a miss for what could have been such a silly stupidly charming game.

Ratatony: nasty sewer mobster
Julia Pup: poopy poltergeist
Ratrick: hello can I take your order? :)

Julia already said this in an SSS stream but her joy at janky games is ruined because so much jank these days is due to gen AI being used. She misses being able to go through HOMEGROWN, HANDMADE JANK, NATURALLY BAD GAMES instead of gen AI garbage. It really does suck that one of her favourite genres of games (funny bad game jank) has been poisoned by this.

This is the first PVP character creation screen I've ever seen

watching julia and Jacob in this game is like those toxic couples on kitchen nightmares

The way Jacob goes "I'm holding water, you CAN'T HIT ME!" right after hitting everyone else makes me know that he was that kid

I saw Jacob scroll by that paper bag head, and went, "I bet Julia's going to wear that!" and I was vindicated shortly afterwards. lol.

I'm gonna take, I'm gonna place, I'm gonna cut. I'm gonna take, I'm gonna place, I'm gonna cut. I'm gonna take, I'm gonna place...I'm gonna take, I'm gonna place, I'm gonna cut.

I take care of kindergarteners and we were talking about Chinese new year and they were all born in the year of the rats so they are like we are all rats and I’m like yeah you guys are a bunch of rats

46:00 dying at everyone realizing jacob can't read the seating chart

The way Jacob says "Ratrick" gets me EVERY time.

Ratatony just berating everyone for everything was peak comedy. Ratrick trying to have a genuine moment saying he felt good about the last shift and ratatony saying that’s how it should have been all along if ratrick hasn’t been doing his dance. Ratatony is so toxic and I love him, hitting his employees with his baguette and his rat wife not taking any of it and coming back with the same angry nyc rattitude was very fun to watch.

Jacob just barely moving the tables and then getting frustrated that nothing changed was peak Ratatony energy.

the bit a 1:38:00 (roughly) is so funny because like,, we can see julias screen, we can see that she sees,,
also the idea that people in chat weren't pleased with the bit is so funny to me, ratatony is golden
