Hello Gareth. Great Video. I am an exile from Leeds, circa 1958, when my parents and I moved across the Pennines for better work and money. I'm originally from Holbeck but they were Hunslet born and bred. Dad from somewhere off Burton Road, and Mum from Balm Road. They are long deceased but would certainly not remember their Hunslet compared to today. More trees for a start!!!! Most of the joint families were from Hunslet and some still live there. My Dad, Dick,  played Rugby League for Hunslet 1st team before WW2. His career dashed by Japanese shrapnel in Singapore. I could rant on for ever about my time as a kid then, as many could. My only adverse comment  is that you don't tell us which roads you are driving down. My memories of walking to Stourton starting at Hunslet Moor to see my auntie and uncle, with my Mum are still vivid after all these years so it would have been nice to see how the area has changed. You mentioned walking tours, so perhaps these will be more informative. I've found our old house on a You Tube video, and in those days only posh people had gardens. Best wishes. Great to see.

It's a massive area to cover

13:51 Yes it's part of the Middleton Railway. It used to join the main line just beyond where you turned round.
