After many years had passed, I decided to give a two-stroke another try, this time it's a 2005 YZ250, even though the bike was listed as a 2007...

The age difference mainly affects the suspension, since the engine stayed the same from 2005 to 2007. The 2005 has the older KYB AOSS forks instead of the newer SSS forks. The rear shock has a thinner 16 mm shaft (18 mm on later models), no Kashima-coated internals, a smaller reservoir, and a steel spring instead of titanium.
