Selena Quintanilla needs a whole episode on its own she was a Mexican pioneer in Tejano music

I remember Selena, Tupac, and Biggies deaths. It was 3 straight years of the minority community losing their biggest stars for what felt like no reason. I remember after Biggie's death there were grief counselors brought in. I also remember two girls just completely beside themselves when the news broke about Biggie being shot. The teachers at the time sat with us to talk about the "war" that was going on and how it affected us and none of us really understood it. I still really don't. The biggest thing I could remember was thinking is how these rich and famous people, from Selena all the way to Princess Diana who died the same year as Biggie, were being killed so senselessly. It was a weird time from '95 to '97.

You should definitely do a video on Selena Quintanilla she is such a talented artist that broke so much barriers for Mexican/American people because she singed in both languages. She has such a tragic story but won’t be ever forgotten because she is a long time legend.

I wish they wouldn’t call them “accidents”. These criminal incidents were done on purpose.

It's a real shame that most of the murderers never received justice. May the Celebrities Rest In Peace

Thank you for this. Tupac and Biggie were the 2 most influential hip hop artists ever and it's sad that street/gang tensions had to escalate and take away 2 of the best artists of our lifetime

RIP 2PAC THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME

christina grimmie broke my heart... i was such a huge fan of hers as a kid. i watched all her youtube videos and covers and was so happy to hear she did well on the voice. i even cut my hair to match hers in middle school. she had such a bright future. her brother was there too and tried so hard to get the guy and save her life... so freaking sad. it's hard to realize i'm older now than she was when she passed away.

An especially sad thing about Tupac and Biggie is I think before their careers took off they were very good friends but became enemies after gang conflicts that may have set them against each other unwillingly.

Shame that Selena Quintanilla wasn’t included. You should try to show her, she was one of the greatest influences in Mexican/American music .

Tupac and biggie rivalry wasn’t for the selling of their music. This hiphop stuff was serious. East coast and west coast beef wasn’t something to play with.

Can't believe Dimebag Darrell wasn't in this one. He was literally shot and killed on stage in front of all the fans and his own brother who was the band's drummer.

Man, seeing Christina again made me tear up. She was - and still is - my favorite Youtuber, I was such a huge fan of her when I was younger. Sadly didn't follow her journey that much and I remember waking up one day and seeing the news on instagram. I cried the whole day.. it's so sad, she was the same age as me.

Snoop said Biggie LOVED Tupac....I doubt Biggie had anything to do with Tupac's murder.

2:42 He wasn't doing charity he was at a motorbike store and was going to go back and buy a motorbike.

all of the mentions in this video pains me but christina grimmie man, just hurts me so bad! i watched her youtube channel since the very start, i was soooo happy when she blind auditioned on the voice usa and then....i'll never forget opening twitter and seeing the article, it hurts to this day.

A point of correction.  Biggie actually NEVER dissed Tupac.  Tupac was shot in New York and survived before he was shot again and killed a few years later.  Biggie made a song called "who shot ya" before Tupac was shot for the first time in New York and Tupac took the song to mean that Biggie was behind the first shooting incident which Biggie and P-diddy denied.  That's how the beef started and led Tupac to make the infamous diss song called "Hit em up."  But Biggie never responded with any diss songs of his own.

X FLY HIGH MY BOY 💔

I was waiting for Selena, I wish she was in this one.

Was waiting for Selena Quintanilla and Eminem's bestfriend Proof
