Despite the rainy weather, the vast campsite and breathtaking scenery completely dispelled any lingering feelings of disappointment; it felt like stepping into a Ghibli film. Delicious local bread, Wassamu Jingisukan (grilled lamb), and our second attempt at smoking food left our hearts and stomachs full during this Hokkaido camping trip with our senior dog.
