Creator of Star Nova here, glad to see this here! Thanks for playing :)

In defense of the writer, at 1:09:45 the reason why it was super plot important for Sunbrerro to wake up and break Mario out of jail is to explain that you'd been knocked out for an indeterminate amount of time. Therefore it's not weird she had turned the entire desert into a snowpocalypse in that single fade to black.

Always love when a new rom hack comes out for a Mario game. Especially with Paper Mario, it feels like we never get enough original rom hacks for the series. It was fun watching this live!

30:33 paper mario romhack where saying what animal the enemy is instantly defeats it

NOT the creator of Star Nova here. NO thanks for playing it. >:(

This is what sticker star should have been.

54:42 hehehe c’right’ instead of c’left’

You know what would make this mod better? If Whacka was in it :3

It's always cool when mods use ideas scrapped from the main games and make them their own

this game looks cool as hell, it feels good to watch bringle vids again without the slop sweatshop marathon

Those secrets where you need to backtrack with an upgrade would be fine if you had another reason to backtrack there. The point is to give you a reason to come back so the area's not forgotten. But it's not a good reason if it's so late, and for a finite item.

Let's say in the original PM64 they wanted you to have a reason to go back through pleasant path, the road near Koopa Village? An optional star piece behind an ultra block on its own is not a good reason. But if you have the Kent C Koopa fight, and then have the ultra hammer block while you're there with the ultra hammer, that's better. Or, the reusable turtley leaf item, used for side quests and recipes, being found only in Koopa Village is good. Just remove the shortcut pipe so you have to go through the path, or have the leaf be in the path, would be a better reason

41:13 I don’t know if this was intentional, but I find it neat that 4 isn’t an option here just to help clear up whether or not Brothership would be included.

YOOOO, I completely forgot about Star Nova, was keeping up with development for a while, saw the trailer for it's release but got busy! Gg to NicTube, this looks incredible!

I love the Oshawott doing the Gangman Style by the way

Paper Mario 64 is my favorite PM, and rom hacks of it are right up my alley. Rest assured, I will get to Star Nova eventually, it looks really well done. Just gotta finish Dark Star Edition first

I wanted to do this for ttyd like 7 years ago but as a high schooler I had no idea how to do it and so it just went dorment for a long time. I love mods that basically strip the game of it's content and puts its own by using the game almost like an engine. This'll be good

12:38 Probably another story for a Paper Mario 64 mod.

9:21 Lmaoo his face when you catch the hammer

Yay new paper mario mod!!

I really love Sunbrero's character man
He's so good

1:22:24 There's a Rock Paper Wizard inside of all-
