⚖️ WHY THIS COMBO WON
• One-piece Kevlar case that covers the hinge without touching the mechanism — none of the spring-hinge "pop" my Spigen made
• Genuinely fingerprint-resistant texture (Kevlar cases like Pitaka always smudged on me; this one doesn't)
• Raised lip around the huge camera bumps — wobble mostly gone, and the grip puck sits flush with the bump
• Buttons and ports fully exposed, and the USB-C cutout swallows big bulky plugs
• The grip: 22 g, magnetic instead of adhesive, kickstand at almost any angle in landscape AND portrait, finger loop doubles as a fidget spinner
• Whole folded setup with grip: 269 g vs my old S23 at 216 g — barely heavier than a slab phone
• GlassWarrior AR protector is oleophobic and genuinely cuts reflections vs Samsung's own protector
Honest caveats: no button covers (I'd prefer more tactile volume keys), a little camera wobble remains, and you can't wireless-charge through the grip — you pop it off first.

Also, one thing i noticed with the 8 series and s26 series is the weird thing where the cases only have circle portion of the magsafe magnets and they did away with the middle nub that usually sits below the circle. Not exactly sure of the reason why they did that but it doesn't allow for existing accessories to line up properly when rotated to a portrait mode anymore because there's no alignment magnet to line up with the accessory anymore 🤔
