Gary was a great heel manager. He made you really believe that he was mean and evil.

The Problem Was: Kevin always was on drugs and no showed events. Kerry showed up occasionally but couldnt really perform while high. Mike wasnt ever well after his medical issues after Isarel. Chris was too small to be a wrestler, had asthma, and was too young to take over the business because he wanted to be like Kerry. The issue was none of the Von Erichs had a business mind except David and he was gone way to early for that promotion.

Uncle Gary spitting truths.

At the very end, a slight smile from Mr. Hart! That's like seeing a Yeti.

I read Gary's book and all of his stories have been consistent in these interviews. His story would make a great miniseries.

I wish I could get a copy of his book that isn’t like $500 lol. His psychology was great to listen to

I remember Dusty in Orlando being the same way believe it or not. After being away for a while the Sports Stadium would be packed and you could literally feel the electricity. After several weeks the crowds would start dwindling.

3:19 - It's been suggested by a number of people over the years, as most everyone knows that the "David died because of gastroenteritis" story doesn't hold up but Gary is one of the few truly inner-circle WCCW guys that's admitted that it was an accidental OD.

Very good

The good ol' bring someone in for a couple months and away they go afterwards. I always enjoyed fresh grudge matches that would just end and new ones would start. Not being tied down to a 1000 page script for years at a time. :face-purple-crying: Hahaha

The problem is there wasn't a clean promotion back then and they all came off as wholesome and most wrestlers were paid very little and drugs and alcohol were a problem in every promotion as was bad ownership . All I give a damn about is the FACT every Friday night and on Holidays me and my cousins would go to the Sportitorium in Dallas and have the time of our lives and those memories won't be took away by dirt diggers.
