Welcome to the first of my videos for 2024.  It's a New Year and I'm making a New Journal. I've decided that among other things I want to create a mixed media journal page each week. But the journal is a bit different - So ... I'm making a New Style of journal - I will create the journal as each page is completed each week.  This is also a no-sew #nosew journal.  Will you join me?  This is a chance to use your scraps #useyourscraps and use your stash #useyourstash and to unlock your creativity (if it needs unlocking!)- and we will make the mixed media pages into a #concertina journal you can create pages that suit your own style.  I will show you what I do which will hopefully give you some mixed media inspiration #mixedmedia inspiration will give you a weekly #prompt to be interpreted however you want. My pages are likely to have a #grungy look to them but you do you.  For other #journalmaking ideas see my playlists linked below along with a link to the resource folder I referred to in my video and other information and links. There's more information on this specific project further below.  And I'll have a playlist for all the videos relating to Creating a 2024 Concertina Journal.

More project information:

The concertina journal I am creating can be regarded as an #artjournal or a #junkjournal - it's up to you what you want to call yours.Whatever you call it, I will be showing how you can create each page using #collage and #mixedmediatechniques . Art journal pages or #junkjournalpages we are going to have fun turning #trashtotreasure. Whatever your style of preference for #journaling you can adapt this project to do what you enjoy most. Have fun.
