Job market: major matters, not the school.

(I am assuming you werent automatic admission?) You made the right decision.  The thing about UT is that it has so many great majors that you can change your major or add majors while you are there.  Also, everything is on campus, all the sporting events and Major Concerts are in the Moody Center (you can walk to Everything there).
i recommend you join a "Sorority".  Trust me, i resisted joining a fraternity my first semester but then i joined my spring semester.  It makes things a lot more fun and you make connections for Life, really anywhere in the country.  I started in the Business School and then transferred into Engineering.  The football team is projected to win the National Championship so it will be CRAAAAZY in 26'.  Good Luck and Hook em" !
