What I learned from this video; ripping is always for fun and just buy the singles you want for your PC to save the $100 instead of buying graded grails that are not worth the value ever.

You know what really sucks about ripping you realize about how much garbage gets generated.

I lol'd at the ASMR joke. It's a good start on the 2nd career in stand-up.

i feel like opening slop repacks kills the point of this video...

Ted Hurst /5 sticker auto for $500 is VERY ambitious 😂😂😂

$210 for a Flagship Hobby and $70 for the Mega?! Wow... Glad I ordered directly from Topps.

Didn’t think I was getting ASMR T-Pot and Grammar Police T-Pot in the same video!😬

So your shop charges $70 for the same flagship football megabox that is currently in stock at every major retailer for $50? Wow.

My wife says the same thing to me. Doesn't understand how cardboard/paper can be worth so much to people. I counter with how does a painting cost millions of dollars when they don't even know the painter personally or ever seen them paint?! I at least get to watch the players play and have some connection to them. Then she too tells me to get back to work and support our five kids lol

Graded grails are garbage.  I won't ever be buying that.

The "problem" :) I have with breaking packs, boxes or cases and seeing people do it online is that nobody seems to enjoy the cards and are just flipping through the commons, not digesting what they're getting and only looking for the hits because hits = $$$ and that's the state of the hobby...

...even kids seem to rifle through their open packs and look for the lucky big value hits and leave their stack of common base cards, sometimes neglecting some good rookie and all-star cards because they're focused on the serial crash numbered cards, relics and autographs cards.

I remember when even adults would enjoy the players of the game and looking at the stat backs, etc. - - but now, much like non-sports and Pokemon, we have grown adults getting giggly giddy like a pre-teen school girl over Disney cards and other releases targeted to a younger demographic.

I bought a Topps series 2 hobby hit a rookie superfractor of Heriberto Hernandez, and he immediately went on a ridiculous little HR streak over the next like 20-30 games so I like paper hobby. Because inside the included silver pack. I pulled a Pete Alonso orange mojo refractor numbered to 25 of course. So I spent 120-130 and recouped id say minimally in those two alone 850 but probably more, and then the other rookies and a few other numbered to 2026 rookies plus other small 3- 8$ cards

Those graded grails sound interesting but I need to know a bit more.  I get the higher floor...but does that mean that it's mostly floor?

I've had crazy luck with Topps Flagship.  I've spent about $700 on retail.. pulled 2 All Kings, a Mendoza player worn, Caleb Williams/50, Chris Bell rc /25, and 5 sp team logo borders.

32:33 The lines on the Romo are in the image. It's a drill pitchers and catchers do in their bullpen sessions. The picture was taken in Spring Training

zero percent chance a ted hurst goes for 500

Is a Ted Hurst really worth $500? Cool card though

Did it say that Ted Hurst card was $500?….I can’t see that being correct in the slightest

Great video as always TPot, I’ll have to trade you some lions for my colts sometime. I’m somewhat rooting for them because I got Gibbs and Jamo in fantasy this year 😂

For 1500$, just buy a nice card

Ripping junk is not worth it
