I just remember watching these games with my grandparents. This sport is so beautiful man.

Epic series! As a St. Louis Cardinals fan, Pedro Martinez always been my favorite pitcher all time.

It was electric, no other way to describe it. RIP Tim Wakefield. The way they did it, dare I say, it was worth the wait.

Crazy Im Father always liked Pedro even he is gone now it brings back memories for me.

We love Pedro

The greatest pitcher I've ever seen.
Growing in Boston.
It was an
event when
Pedro started.

Pedro told management to sign Ortiz when he was released by the Twins

This was the greatest season in baseball history, and to this day, Martinez is the greatest pitcher I’ve ever seen. He wasn’t the most durable, but when he took the mound, if he didn’t get 10 strikeouts a game, everyone in town was like “What’s wrong with Pedro? Is he hurt?”

The expectations of him were off the charts and he exceeded them.

There were SO many reasons for the Sox to fail that year. Garciaparra going from the golden boy to getting traded. Manny repeatedly trying to shoot his way out of town. New manager. Schilling getting hurt in the playoffs, the already-great Yankees team adding Alex Rodriguez. Falling down 0-3 yo the Yankees. It was just such a high drama season with so many moments that could’ve derailed the season, that when they won, it was just magical.

There will never be another season of baseball like it.

Good timing. Needed some cope after game 1

Can we get Nick Offerman, Bill Murray and Eddie Vedder to sit down with Damon and Affleck and get a script banged out for the Theo Epstein story?  If you can make a movie about how Air Jordan’s came to be you can do a movie about the guy who broke the biggest curses in the history of baseball.  Maybe the last name is just too toxic…

I'm a Cleveland fan and I believe the Red Sox coming back from 3-1 against the Indians was the bigger feat imho. Yeah, the Red Sox won in 2004 and that was the bigger celebration and story but to be down 3-1, still have to play in Cleveland and beat two 19 win players in Sabathia and Carmona to force a game 7 was crazy. Not to mention beating Sabathia twice. This was the year we all knew whoever won this series was going to beat the Rockies in the World Series. This should have been the World Series matchup that year. Lol. No question about it but being down 3-0 sounds a lot better than being down 3-1.

Let's go Pedro!

I had no idea the Yankees blew the Red Sox so badly in Game 3 (19-8) until seeing the 04 Red Sox Netflix doc.

🐐

Actually this story, with Pedro, started a year earlier and was arguably his fault for not coming out of that game. Nothing like being demoralized for the second year in a row and your HOF ace tells the press that the "Yankees are his daddy".
But... Dave Roberts

Can the sox just do the same thing tonight?

Don Zimmerman knows😊

Pedro deserves to celebrate 2004, but it was so great to see Matsui smack him around to win the 2009 WS.

I guess BR is gonna have a contract with WWE for exclusive content, will BR still upload content from AEW? Cause there needs to be more than just the WWE monopoly. They already have their contract with ESPN

I remember this series.  It's the year that George W. Bush got re-elected.  I thought the apocalypse was coming.
