This is what we call authenticity! No Na stands out as the only asia’s group that isn’t following the usual K-pop trends. They’ve got their own style and unique character, while many others are starting to look like Blackpink copies, No Na keeps it original.

PREACH! I completely agree. The identity crisis in K-pop and the pop industry is real nowadays. 88rising is so smart in identifying the gaps in the market who didn't know what they're missing: authentic, natural, beautiful, and UBER-talented women representing SE Asia--a historically underrated region of the world. I'm so proud of them and hopefully they can also be cultural ambassadors for Indonesia.

When I tell yall was I not only shocked by how good the song was but gagged at the choreography practice video. I will definitely be tuning in more to this group 🤗🤗

They're giving island girls and i love it. I will never get tired of this concept

Their voices are so beautiful that they make me feel safe and relaxed. Usually when I see girl groups, I see them as so beautiful, luxurious, and unattainable, but "no na," they are so beautiful, and just looking at them makes me feel beautiful and happy too.

I got the message. Instead of doing culture appropriation, they're doing with original own style which is very good in many ways, right?

Not all new GG are considered to follow the Korean GG standard!! GG has been around long time before Korean GG went viral.
Bangles, TLC, Destiny's Child, Pussycat Dolls, Spice Girls, etc. And now No Na is the next generation of real GG..

Girls can sing sing, I love it, it's rare these days.

black music is undeniably influential everywhere. the sounds they’ve done clearly take inspiration and this specific song could’ve been a miss had they not came it authentically and fresh and this sound isn’t really touched (that bit of new jack swing vibe is outdated and not used mich now and can be really corny if done wrong) as a black person i see the actual authenticity and love for this sound. r&b is where singers go to SHINE and i can tell these girls do while staying true to them! excited to see what they do next im truly their biggest fan

When the music gets saturated by K-Pop blackpink-ish style, no na enters with such fresh concept

@ngasalaja2839 1 year ago

I get what you mean guys. Sometimes, especially in K-pop, a lot of groups try out different concepts. It's not like a bad thing, but it can be hit or miss. It's like they're just wearing a costume instead of actually becoming the concept
