the ai in the game is so good it came out of the game and deleted my comment on my own video - https://twitter.com/indeimaus

"His reflexes are off the charts"

Gets hit in the face with a plank of wood from the front on his first mission

"You're gonna take three of these and I'll see you in hell!"
Actual audio recording of me when I worked in retail pharmacy.

"Ah F.E.A.R. - this takes me back. I'm surprised I remember all of this!"

> Costume Designer: Iron Pineapple.

"Oh, no I don't."

6:09 Fun rat facts! These rats are running on the same AI routines as the enemy soldiers, but with no combat options! They also don't unload at any point in the level, they just sit at the end of the hallway and send hundreds of AI "what do I do now?" calls. If you leave the game running on this level for six to seven hours without reloading or closing the game, the AI calls will eventually clog up all the available memory and crash the game.

The anime music playing from the radio is an easter egg. It's from Shogo: Mobile Armor Division which was also made by Monolith.

"I'm about to do what is called-" quick saves "A pro gamer move."

12:01 - "Is this a real life gun? Can any gun nerds confirm this?"
The ASP doesn't exist in real life under that name, but it's based on the Israeli Tavor-21 rifle. The IWI X95 ("Micro-Tavor", as the grunts call it), a descendant of the TAR-21, has been standard issue for Israeli combat units since 2009. I was issued an M16 rifle when I was in service but I'd love to try it out one day.

Love the reasoning on the chief. "Yeah, let's take the rookie on this incredibly dangerous mission. He's got ... great reflexes."

I recommend The Suffering & The Suffering 2: Ties That Bind...Old but the first one is a classic.

I found your channel because of a comment you left on Civvie's first Petty Thief video. I saw your pfp and thought "that looks like some Gorillaz shit". Went to your channel, saw your Greatest Hits playlist, clicked on Resident Souls 4, and the rest, as they say, is history. It's nice to see things come full circle like this. You guys should definitely team up for a video sometime.

Only a few people know this: when Indeimaus was just a small child, he fell into a bed. Now he's got bedhair for life.. RIP

"What does RTFM stand for?"
Read The Friggen Manual. Which is fitting for what boils down to a salty IT guy.

F.E.A.R is a Legendary FPS/Horror game, no one can tell me otherwise. The fact that the game came out in 2005 and is still better the 90% of the modern FPS/Horror games is just baffling.

I was the hole video thinking “this ain’t that scary” but at 37:56 I got shivers down my spine if I had played the game when I was a kid, I would be fucking traumatized.

"I love this, I love sequel, I don't love the third one, at all, it's...it's horrific but you know what we'll just ignore that one."

Oh so like Dead Space then

32:00 That song is actually from one of Monolith's earlier games SHOGO: Mobile Armor Division, which was one big mecha anime homage/parody. Mandalore did a video on it.

This game has the gold standard in AI + Level Design combo.

2:51 “I know it’s not that old”

If you were born when this game was released you are now in high school.....

"Remember CRT monitors? Dragging those around to your friend's house?"
I was with you, then you lost me on that last part.

Friends living in an actual house...
