My friend had one. Took us a long time to get it running.

I had a 47 Wizzer , it had heavy duty spokes on a Schwin bicycle. Had a thumb operated throttle no twist grip , always easy to start.

I bought one of these from a neighbor back in early 60's who had it sitting under outdoor steps going to an upper room in his house. It had the springer front end and everything. I gave $7 for it. Got it running, drove it around for a couple weeks then traded it for a Sears Allstate moped. I guess I should have kept it, lol.

My Dad bought a Whizzer engine during the war but never used it - For years as I was growing up it hung on a nail on the wall in the garage  -  When I was in high school I mounted it on a bike  -  We didn't have any of the original running gear  -  I made a jackshaft mounted on a swinging arm -  The final drive was roller chain  -  The swinging arm made for a belt slip clutch   -   I used 20" bike wheels but I had to use a 24" frame or the engine wouldn't fit  -  I shortened up the stays on the frame to fit the 20" wheels  -  I had it licensed and everything -

The boys are back together! Keep it up lads.

I had one. It was a complete kit, used, given to me in 1965 by my sister's boyfriend when I was 12. I mounted it on an old Evens Bicycle. Yeah, 27mph is all you can expect from it. The idler pulls is the clutch. Hook a hand brake lever and cable to it. There was an optional coil on a plate that went where the points cover goes that producer 6 volts for lights. My friends mounted Briggs and Techumse engines on their bikes and were way faster. I eventually went that route. Faster ment getting away from cops easier, LOL! WHIZZER went out ofbusiness in 1966.

Reminds of me of the bicycle from the Wizard of Oz that the Wicked Witch character rode, very cool!

You guys are unstoppable!

Super cool bike!

Thanks brohams. My dad grew up on one in Portland oregon. He rode it every day up in forest park hills. He rode it on the street there and rode it home. When I was 13 he took it in a box to the dump. Thanks for showing me how she goes. Thank you.

I know you guys dont do it but this one would be a perfect candidate for a complete restoration. 🤌🏻👊🏻

Nice find guys!

Great Job! I think this one should be restored.

Absolutely love this - the most amazing engine sound!

One step up from an old 1860's Bone Shaker bicycle 🚲 😅😂

They were sold by Sears the bicycle kit that you have and a sturdier pre assembled Motorcycle.

Thank's ❤❤
