I grew up in Guernsey in the Channel Islands. So many bunkers and concrete gun emplacements and towers still remain! Bizarre to see a 1000 yr old Castle with a 1940's concrete block house or addition on it! I used to go to boy scouts and the meetings where in a 3 level german bunker over looking a bay! Thick concrete walls, and the levels went down, with middle levels being two store rooms, it had the stepped back gun hole too!

I don’t agree with that clause in the Geneva convention at all! You start a war by invading another country then you clean up the mess you made! I can’t believe thats really in there!

Many of these emplacements are falling into the sea.. grains get into the small cracks and plants slowly break down even armoured concrete. Nature will eat away at them..

why your channel is demonetised?

to be honest... FAMILIES of the people who layed down the mines should be put to the task of removing them.
screw "Geneva conventions" - most of them just say "it's ok to be war criminal, as the punishment is ALWAYS less severe than your deeds"

Denmarks history in Ww2 is not pretty. Surrendering to the Germans. Working together with the Germans until 1943, even hunting resistance movements. After 1943 many Danes made fortunes ( robbed) the Jews sailed to Sweden.
After the war letting German refugees die like flies. Women and children, people who were ethnic German from Eastern Europe who had no say at all in Nazis raise to power. Their crimes was that they were Germans. Just like the Jews crime was that they were Jewish.
And icing on the cake was the mine removal made by teen boys.
