I didn't come from an archery family, didn't have a plan, and didn't
touch a bow until high school. This is the long shot that somehow
turned into Team USA.

In this video I walk through my full archery journey — from picking up
a bow in high school with no direction, to earning a college
scholarship, turning pro, building this space from scratch, and
making Team USA for 2027.

But i have something i really need help with.
I shoot quite a lot. And i shoot pretty good.
So far ive shot 300 24x and i shoot 300’s casually.
I can shoot confidently in practise.
BUT when i come to a tournament, i just crumble. I punch and punch and punch. My sight picture feels very wide, my bow feels light and i myself just feel weak.
The next day at practise, i shoot just as i was before.
Thats the biggest problem. I dont know what to work on when coming to a tournament with these kinds of problems.
I dont think i have target panic, but it feels like it when i am in the tournament.
Another little thing is that when i am shooting at something like a dart target face or maybe a homemade printed one, i also tend to get target panicky shots.
I dont know why???😭
I dont know if you can help, or anyone else, but thank ya for reading.
