After Jeff Brohm fled to tank conference, Purdue was in desperate need of a new man to take over. Ryan Walters, while filling the void, created another one in the form of terrible football.

Really, REALLY BAD Football.

Thank you for making this video. As a Boilermaker, it cannot be understated how much we hated Ryan Walters there at the end. Several times a game, the entire student section would chant, “FIRE WALTERS”, and it got so bad that we started chanting it at basketball games as well. I don’t know what’s worse: having a 1-11 football season or paying him $9 million to go away. He’s at least gone now, but he likely set our Football program back several years, if not a decade or two.

The weirdest thing about Purdue last year was that they played 5 playoff teams, including three of the final four.
Essentially, almost half your schedule is against playoff teams.

As a Purdue student and Bears fan, this year was absolute hell for football. I hope it's at least watchable next year.

If you’re interested, look at the fall of the NMSU basketball program. Chris Jans built the program up and left for Mississippi State. Then Greg Heiar came and the team was broaden with scandal. From getting into fights at football games, to a shootout in Albuquerque with an assistant coach tampering with evidence, and to a hazing scandal that got Heiar and eventually the athletic director fired, one of the biggest falls from grace I have ever seen. Keep in mind, the Aggies upset UConn the year Jans left, everyone thought they were on the upswing. It’s an absolute catastrophe.

As a soon to be Purdue alumni, the guillotine was calling by week 3 after our L to Notre Dame.

Purdue: Hey, Notre Dame lost to NIU. We’ve got a shot here.

Notre Dame: We’re going to make them feel our pain.

I'm not a Purdue fan, but I'm glad Uche Nwaneri didn't have to witness this.

A title idea for a video on the Maryland football program. “UMD- A Program Stranded.” Would actually love to talk to you about this as a local who thinks this program has potential.

3:52 that's what they said about Brandon Staley. And Dan Quinn. And Geoff Collins

We need a vid on Geoff Collins

Interesting how this guy never brings up the fact that the Boilermakers own the Vols in football and basketball

As a Michigan fan I was extremely impressed with Brhom. I feel bad he left

As a Pitt fan you should do a video on the Panthers. The last 40 years of mediocrity. Like blowing a 21 point lead to lose the Big East title to Cincinnati in 2009 to home losses to Western Michigan and a 7 win Miami team to keep them out of the playoff in 2021. Pitt football. Disappointing fans and students since 1984.
