The market hasn’t disappeared they (The Royal Mint) priced themselves out of the market.

The Royal Mint could rule the market again tomorrow if they wanted. All they have to do is reduce their absurd prices. I love the Royal Mint. I love their craft. I love their history. I hate their greed.

Don't agree that people no longer use cash. I only use cash never card unless it's online

I no longer buy from mint just to loose about 30% in the short term due to no being value for money any more

VAT charged on silver coins in the UK (unlike gold) does not help their cause.

Digital currency is not money, it's an illusion that cannot store any value over time,
Gold is a store of value and has been for thousands of years.
centeral banks are buying gold like crazy. Why?

Nobody uses cash anymore? Let me tell you something. My local Lidl introduced some self-checkouts at last and what's the result? Most of the people don't use them and stand in a queue to the normal till even if they wanna buy just a couple of items - BECAUSE THEY PAY CASH and the self-checkouts are card only...

I agree. premiums way too high and way too many collectables I think. I hope they can sort themselves out as I would love to buy from them and support them but I just can't afford to.

I found the RMs attempt to resell numismatics laughable, they were trying to flog low grade coins for silly money when anyone with any knowledge wouldnt touch them with a barge pole. They had old morgan dollars that had been worn flat up for sale at £60... They were just trying to rip off unsuspecting customers.
