Fascinating

Thank you for reporting

In a conversation on a subject of this scale,  it's easy to mis-present or incorrectly state things on the spur of the moment. I've witnessed it many times and it was often unintentional.

did they discuss about jabotinsky "iron wall"?

My family went through this stories in real time Jerusalem. I went through other wars in  Jerusalem.

I did get to an video the following  this - where do I find that

14:58 "safe" LMAO.

I was expecting this to be one biased video with undertones of academic impartiality but I was rather surprised. I'll be watching more of this speaker and academic. Thank you so much

Attlee was told we had to retrench

Thank god that Israel exists

Do you mention Sir Moses Montefiore in the 1860's. He already helped initiatives to build neighborhoods in Jerusalem

Historical records depend on who is telling the story

Whats the name of the book

According to Shabtai Teveth, who wrote a major biography of David Ben-Gurion, a central purpose of Jewish statehood was to open the gates of the country to Jewish immigration. Ben-Gurion treated unrestricted aliyah as essential both for the rescue of Jews and for the viability of the state itself. The 1939 White Paper, issued by Neville Chamberlain’s government after the Arab Revolt of 1936–1939, severely limited Jewish immigration to Mandatory Palestine—75,000 over five years, and thereafter only with Arab consent—in an effort to conciliate Arab opinion and protect British interests in the Middle East on the eve of war. Haj Amin al-Husseini and the Arab leadership he influenced rejected the paper, but the immigration restrictions remained in force. After 1945, many Jewish survivors and refugees were held in British camps in Cyprus and in displaced-persons camps in Europe. Independence removed the White Paper limits: the Declaration of Independence stated that Israel would be open to Jewish immigration and the ingathering of the exiles, and the new state immediately began bringing in the Cyprus detainees and other refugees..

9:21 “massive transfers of people, around 12 million”
Israel managed to forcibly evict 1 Million Lebanese from Southern Lebanon in a matter of weeks.
Unlike what happened in India, Israel also razed villages rendering Southern Lebanon a Gaza-like expanse.

The Muslim Brothers were from 1928.

What percent of the land did the UN give a Jewish state and what percent of the land did Jews own in the area at the time?

At the very start of the video they mention how Churchill described control of thr middle east that is precisely the problem and why the whole sham state  of Israel is an unwanted  colonial settler state. Control of the middle east should belong to the indigenous people of the middle east not Britain or the US and certainly not zionist settlers.

It was clear to the Jews that they would not survive a day under an Arab state (the Arab neighbors proved this more than once). They would also agree to even worse partition proposals for them just for the chance of winning SOME piece of land that they could control themselves. Luckily for them, the Arabs rejected the first offers, which were much better for them, and in the end they lost everything.
And now all they have to do is distort history and brainwash the world that they are the poor people in the story

Hitchens position on Israel was right.
