When I broke my foot in elementary school, my school nurse told me I just sprained it, and when I started to go into shock in her office, my mom had to fight the nurse in order to take me to the hospital because the nurse was convinced I was faking… Great times

Me, a chronically ill person, at every doctors appointment hearing the doctor say “wow! That is a lot of symptoms!” 😂❤

Back in my day.... You got a baggie filled with ice wrapped in those scratchy brown paper towels. 😂😂

It could be a fun video to combine a school nurse type role play with ‘everything is wrong’ where you’re getting increasingly concerned but don’t want to freak out the child

I’m a radiologic technologist and work at an ER. We sometimes have kids come in for various reasons, and we do x-rays on them. I decided to keep some stickers that say “I got an x-ray today!” They love them!!

lol when I was in eighth grade I had horrible stomach pain and went to the nurse. She called my mom and told her I was faking it. Guess who got an emergency appendectomy the next morning?

No school nurse is this thorough. My school nurse just looks at me and says I'm fine and tells me to go back to class

With how many times I ran into poles in elementary school recess (not a joke), I wish I had a nurse like this 😭

I've never become a member for a youtuber/channel I like but man, that membership video really touched me. It's incredible to see someone using their platform to help others. Becoming a member was a no brainer - thank you for what you're doing, Gibi. Thank you for caring about people and SHOWING it. Beautiful stuff <33

I broke my arm in kindergarten. Like full on broke, arm drooping and everything. The school nurse looked at it and said “I don’t think it’s broken” she gave me goldfish and called my mom because I wouldn’t stop crying. I later on had to wait several hours for surgery so they could set my arm because I didn’t have an empty stomach because SHE GAVE ME GOLDFISH. When I came back to school in a cast she said “must’ve been a really bad sprain”

@clockworkthoughts7830 7 months ago

When someone tried to make a relaxing video about going to the school nurse, and the comments section is just people talking about all of their school nurse horror stories. If only the real world could be like ASMR-land.

@Purrkinje 7 months ago

As someone who’s been really struggling with chronic illness for a long time, hearing you say “I can fix all of this” healed me a little ❤

@IAMGRIMM101 7 months ago

4:25 as someone who works in healthcare, the wait time for the temp was so accurate😭I use the same one and it takes FOREVER sometimes

@mysterynotch9098 7 months ago

It's nice to know that gibi's kid will always sleep good to their mom's ASMR

@cv_hellhanlon 7 months ago

Then there's the school nurses that just insult you and send you away lol

@CHAZZ2909 7 months ago

I once broke part of my hand in school and once of the best trained first aid teachers looked me dead in the eye and said ‘it’s not broken you’ll be fine soon’ I then found out ~4 hours later it was infact broken. Very glad i’m not there anymore.
