We gotta dub him as Gaping Yeti now lol

I will say this, the music towards the end has the same motif as the fight against the seneschal in DD1 and the portal he is stabbing looks veeery similar. I am beyond excited

My current theory is as follows:
- Eir is the Fallen Dragon's pawn, echoing Olra from DDDA. Notice her hand glowing similar to a pawn mark, as opposed to her chest if she was an Arisen.
- Fallen Dragon is an Arisen who got defeated by their Seneschal, but ripped its reclaimed heart out in defiance of the cycle (reminder in DD1, Arisen reaching the Seneschal but falling to them will become the new Dragon). This would echo Ashe from DDDA.
- Both Eir and FD come from another world, which is that portal seen in the trailer.
- That world may be corrupted in some ways, maybe by the Seneschal from that word, and that Seneschal will be the real final boss, and the real "Dark Arisen".
- The Wight we see in the trailer may be that Seneschal's first form, echoing the hooded design from DD1, while also referencing Death, until we reach phase 2. The fact that he asks to resolve this peacefully reminds me of Seneschal asking us to make a choice too.
- The withered godsbane at the end may be from him, and the golden glow may br Eir's essence to empower it and close the corrupted portal.
- Also notice the music when we first see that wight. The piano is a lower octave version of the Seneschal's beginning notes.

I wanted a mighty melvo official pawn in my playthrough

That big hairy mouth thing could be this games version of a mimic. Most people aren't afraid of cyclops and could reveal itself once you get close/attack

One of the reasons I love this channel is just how you openly promote other Dragons Dogma channels. You are here for the love of the game and it shows.

I’m scared someone hold me!

Everyone: Ready to get whooped by the new DLC,
Me: Executor Minotaur PTSD from DD1...

We got a Gaping Dragon sequel monster before GTA6

The 15 minute gameplay trailer shows that the fallen dragon is unkillable at the end, where at some point the arisen cuts his head and it regenerates (which initiate a cutscene after where you lose). Very intriguing.

I just hope we get more enemies in the base game. I still want a reason to explore the main world, i dont feel like a dlc will fix that unless it adds to the base world

Finally, new monsters

I feel the hydra will come back. They definitely didn't forget about it, as there is a hydra bow for Archer

I really hope they haven't shown all the monsters. One thing I disliked about the build up to the base game is that they showed every monster just about. I kept hoping to run into something new or different but it didn't feel like anything surprised me.

new monsters is all we hoped for

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... so I'm going to kill the eye and take it.

The hydra needs to return!!! It's in the artwork in the original dragons dogma 2.

I cant help but to think about an Ur-Dragon 2.0… that portal we open with the godsbane… I would like to see the corrupted version of the Ur-Dragon’s weapons, with perm dark instead of holy.

But anyway… 3 weeks left guys! almost there!!

Man i really hooe they re-introduce the mystic knight vocation as a cheeky little surprise

Let’s gooo! We got our Eye of Evil back, I was so hoping that beast would return and we got it, now all we need is that huge grim reaper and my life is yours Dark Arisen.

Also what the heck is that monster with the big mouth from its lower jaw going down through its chest and stomach; reminds me straight up of the thing. Yeah I have a feeling Dark Arisen is gonna bring out the scary factor in these new monsters and I’m here for it.
