Zach's Verse was so damn perfect for N... that dude is philosophical af.

This N line needed more attention. “What has more beauty and terror than innocence.” That’s the smallest mf reference; it’s one line in BW when you’re about to fight N. You talk to two women that raised him; one heals your party, the other gives you a little backstory. She finishes it by saying that N was always innocent, and that “nothing is more beautiful and terrifying than innocence.” 11/10 shit

“Super unorthodox flow” thats my fav part about the Guzma verse, how it’s super rough around the edges but goes hard all the same, just like the man himself.

I love how Nate did in this he normally doesnt rap...
Like AT ALL
AND THEN HE JUST POPS THE F**K OFF

Rustage is crazy to me because his energy on a song is "I will snap you in half don't fuckin test me"

And then you talk to him and he's like "I'll have your daughter home by 8, sir :)"

I know this is a stupid thing to point out, but Connor Quest had slow and fast parts in his verse and he said ‘Magma that’s how I flow’. Magma can flow either really quickly or really slowly, so he set up a bar in the first half of his verse and turned it into a bar in the second half. Just wanted to point out how much better Connor’s verse was than all of us probably originally thought. Insane.

I actually like how zach B rapped N. Because in the show, N didn't really feel like the stereotypical "bad" guy in my opinion. He seemed like the good guy doing bad things. He brought up many existential questions in the show if I remember correctly. He was a villian that you really connected with and might've even felt sorry with. He was a very well thought out villian and the rapping by zach shows that he's done his research into how the man acted in the show.

Ok, because I've noticed a few people missed the theme of Giovanni's bars I'mma say it here:

Giovanni, alongside being the main villain, was also the Ground Type Gym Leader.
Break the dirt in half is probably referring to the fact that Giovanni canonically designed the Earthquake TM
Fissure is one of Pokemon's very few One Hit KO moves, and is ground type.

Y'know, Guzma's verse being SO unorthodox works SO much due to his character.
It's all over the place, but it works.

Best thing is, Natewantstobattle is more known for being a singer than a rapper, like a more video game orientated Divide music. His shit is fire, I remember jamming out to his Undertale song "Ashes" way back in 2018

Pokemon Villain Cypher
ZachB: Yeah so i'mma be philosophical and existential

@Donniedrako15 5 years ago

Natewantstobattle is mostly a singer that works on his own music and various covers. Highly recommend his stuff

Zach's introspection was great for the character he repped cause N was an antagonist, but he was no villain.

For Ham Sandwiches verse you might be able to appreciate it more knowing that the character he personified's name is President Rose
"This Eon's doomed without me, tragic.
Feel like a pheonix, I Rose from the ashes.
They know what's seperating Rose from the Ashes, the same thing seperating poses and actions."
