Great whisky doesn't have to cost a fortune. I've picked out 10 underrated whiskies for 2026 that punch well above their price tags, from overlooked single malts to bottles that genuinely surprised me.
If you're looking for the best value whisky, want to spend your money wisely or just fancy trying something different, these are the bottles I reckon deserve a lot more attention.

My underrated gem is the Tobermorry 12. Perfectly balanced with the distillate to barrel ratio on the flavor.
Their whisky called GLรD is a sherry cask with both Oloroso & PX. And if you want the same set up with added peat go for the TรRV. Some really great drams that are pretty new to the market as they started in 2016. Cheers from Sweden ๐ฅ๐ธ๐ช๐
